Situación ideal para conocer Inveraray
A pesar de usar una habitación que no era la que nos habían preparado en principio, estaba muy bien. Amabilidad y buen trato en la recepción .

Estuve solo una noche en mi recorrido por Escocia. Iba de paso hacía la isla de Skye, pero no me hubiera importado estar más días allí.

Elegimos este hotel como paso intermedio para ir de inverness a stirling por las recomendaciones que leimos en hotels.com Nos encanto. Tanto en la atencion como en las comodidades de su amplia habitacion.La rica reposteria del te que tomamos como asi tambien el desayuno fueron excelentes.Mi mujer y yo lo recomendamos muy especialmente.

Acogedor, cómodo y con un servicio excelente
El hotel es casi más bien una casa, con una escalera con 4 habitaciones, y en la puerta de al lado tienes la pequeña cafetería, así que hay bastante tranquilidad. La habitación es muy amplia, con un baño enorme con ducha y bañera. Aunque no tiene un estilo demasiado moderno se nota que la propietaria ha cuidado hasta el último detalle. Es un sitio limpio y acogedor. La dueña es muy amable y te hace la estancia más agradable. Totalmente recomendable. Lo único a destacar es que está en un pueblo muy pequeño, que no tiene demasiada cosa para ver, pero tiene un supermercado delante y 3 restaurantes al lado.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Brambles. The staff were attentive and we loved the cafe. The street parking was very easy. We knew beforehand there would be no lift, and it was really not an issue for us. We would definitely stay again.

Clean standard inn over a restaurant. The town was quiet in the evening and the room was clean and large.

Nice hotel, lovely cafe.
We stayed in the Attic room which is enormous and well appointed. A good kitchen area, comfortable lounge and a very nice bedroom with masses of cupboard space. The staff in the cafe restaurant were lovely snd a really helpful check in. We'll be back and would heartily recommend it.

Loud snorer, paper thin walls
We were very disappointed with our stay because the walls were paper thin and my husband had to sleep on the bathroom floor as there was a loud snorer right on the other side of the wall (obviously the headboard was there and the bed in our room was next to it too). Not impressed.

Cool, contemporary room in an older building. Yummy breakfast in adjacent cafe, the hub of the hotel. My only preference would have been for a lighter weight duvet, a common defect for me @ all the hotels we stayed @ during our week’s tour.

Our fifth stay at Scottish hotels, including some classy ones, and this was by far the most comfortable and peaceful spot. Surprised that ‘check-in’ was at the bar but no problems whatsoever. Thoroughly recommend this surprising find.

Very friendly and helpful. Super comfy room. The challenge was getting to it up an exceedingly steep spiral staircase. Hadn't realized we'd be on the second floor and me with a recently replaced hip. Parking wasn't free but metered within business hours. Happily we weren't given a ticket. Super location.

Brambles - comfortable and quirky
Very comfortable stay at Brambles. Quirky hotel split across the main street with rooms and the restaurant on one side and more rooms on the other. We were only in for one night but the hotel had everything we needed.

Inverary
This hotel (and the entire town) are very old! The architects of Inverary Castle designed the village at the same time, around 1765, so the village is showing its age. But, I felt Brambles has done a nice job of keeping the premises very nice, considering the buildings age.

My room, #7, was most tastefully decorated with beautiful,vintage furnishings. Very clean and comfortable. I slept SO well. Had a Caramel Log with a cuppa tea upon arrival,it was a really nice wee touch for an ex-pat. The bathroom was modern and the claw bath was heavenly. Check in at the Cafe was easy,as was check out. Karen was so helpful and lovely, as was Cindy in housekeeping and all the staff at the Brambles Cafe. I would highly recommend Brambles Hotel and would definitely stay there again. Many thanks to all and bravo to the owners, Victoria and Stuart !! Sincerely, Gerri😉😊

Room was absolutely lovely and bathroom had massive shower and old style bathtub, I will definitely be back , on one small comment is from my wife , she says it would be good if you had a plug socket next to the mirror so she could do her hair there , other than that brilliant and thanks

This was a quick overnight stay. The room was big as was the bathroom. Everything was very clean, quiet. Unfortunately we couldn’t eat breakfast in the cafe as we needed to catch a ferry and they were late opening. We later came back and ate lunch at the cafe - quite tasty.

Review
The Brambles is definitely not suitable for people who cannot negotiate a steep spiral stairway to access rooms. This coupled with luggage and the wish to go out several times a day: breakfast,meals, sightseeing and shopping is made very difficult unless you only wish to leave your room and return once a day.Add to this you are required to cross a busy main road for breakfast to the Brambles cafe. The rooms were clean though dated and the king sized bed uncomfortable and the smallest king size I’ve ever seen. The owners were more focussed on a crew who were filming in Inveraray the following day which closed their coffee shop and cafe. Breakfast that day was to be had and out for 9am. Not the relaxing break we had hoped for. Wouldn’t return or recommend. Inveraray has far better to offer the tourist on a relaxing break. Highlight: the toilet was spotless and had a magnificent monsoon shower. There were no staff on the premises, no bar , room service or food to order. Was more akin to letting a Brambles apartment not staying in Brambles Hotel.
