“The house was a great fit for my family, not too far from the beach and food markets. It had a beautiful view from the upstairs bed room and a great comfortable space outside for days where we wanted to stay out by the pool or fire place.”

The house is so spacious and open with lots of outdoor space for our little ones to play. We felt safe the whole time and Margaret and her management team were wonderful and easy to work with. “The photos don’t do this place justice. The house was clean, comfortable, and very well-stocked, but the biggest draw was the amazing back deck overlooking the bright blue water of Chalk Sound. Eating breakfast poolside with those fantastic views was the perfect start to every day. The kids loved the pool, which was bigger than we expected. We made great use of the kayaks and paddle board, exploring the little islands in the sound. The property was quiet and peaceful, and we loved the location....

“An amazing vacation in an amazing villa! Accommodated our family of 14 which consisted of 4 families with ease and comfort. Very spacious and well laid out. Our large group never felt crowded and could always find a quiet spot. The pool and pool area was amazing and as described. The 2 minute walk to the most beautiful beach in the world was a bonus and a special treat everyday! “The space was as billed. If you are staying for a week you’ll need to get a refill on the 5 gallon water dispenser, it’s $2 and there are multiple locations so no big deal. Really pretty private!”

“Our stay was fantastic. It’s hard to see neighbors to left and right of the VRBO, which makes it feel private. Landscaping is typical of area with lots of crumbly rock. Room is spacious with dramatic vaulted ceilings. Stone tiles all around are practical and pleasing. Kitchenette was useable. Bathroom very clean and nice. Decor was sparse but we like that. Towels were good. Sheets were soft. Bed was lovely though mattress was too firm for us and we prefer a king size. No outlets near nightstands...

“Our comments echo those of other recent happy guests. The location, the pool area, property manager communication and furnishings were all as advertised and done very well. Hummingbird to us has the feel of a well equipped upscale beach house. We hope to return in the near future.”

“This was a wonderful holiday which was let down only by a few minor deficiences. The "Cheat Sheet" sent to us well before our arrival was a most comprehensive guide to both the island and the villa. Only 2 things detracted from the excellence of this document: 1. It suggested stopping at the "Lime" cell phone shop on the way to the villa to buy a local phone sim card. Unfortunately, "Lime" became "Flow" several years ago, so the shop could not be found. 2. The "Cheat Sheet" stressed the need for...
