Ok for a few nights
Positive points: Comfy bed, hot shower, clean room, good air con, not too far from good shops and restaurants, but still quite quiet. Negative points: Smelly drains, bathroom could have been cleaner, had to buy our own toilet roll, area is very hilly which isn't ideal for backpackers walking to/fro the Metro

Unprofessional
I had paid for my bunk, but reception told me that we cannot give you the bed and gave me back my money. It ruined all of my plans in the city, just terrible place.

Hôtel accueillant très bien situé
J'ai occupé, durant 3 nuits, la ch. #9 au 2ieme étage qui était très tranquille. L'endroit est ensoleillé et relaxant autour de la piscine bordée de plantes. L'hôtel est parfaitement situé à 5 min à pied du grand Baobab. Juste en face de l'hôtel, un nouveau bar à spectacle "Taxi-Be" vient d'ouvrir depuis env. 1 an. Bière pas cher et beaucoup de jolies filles... Excellent séjour à cet hôtel!!

女性限定ドミトリー4ベッドに宿泊。 カフェスペースが受付で、宿泊スペースとは入口が違う。 部屋まで案内してくれたが、エレベーターのない4階の最上階…年寄りにはきつい。 おまけに、共同キッチンなどの説明がなく〔キッチンは受付の下〕部屋に着いてから水を飲みたくなりまた下まで降りる…4階は合計三部屋…誰もおらず貸切ではあるが、用心の為鍵を掛けた…のが悪かった(T_T)受け取った鍵で開けようとすると…開かない(￣◇￣;)スタッフが鍵を間違っていた(T_T)また下まで降りる。 スタッフに反省の色は見られるものの、中々鍵が見つからない。 あれこれあって、カフェにて待つ事30分程、他のお客からアイスをもらったり、本を読んだりして時間を潰す。 やれやれやっと部屋に落ち着いた…シャワールームは鍵があるもののかなり時代物、さっきは閉め出しを食らい、今度は閉じ込めにあってはと恐怖を感じシャワーは断念。トイレと洗面のみ使用。 リネンは問題ない。近所はクラブなどがある模様でかなりうるさかった。 また泊まりたいとは思わないが、色々経験してみたい人にはオススメ。 日本では味わえないアドベンチャーがある。

la struttura si affaccia in una via secondaria e questo è un bene se volete poter riposare un minimo tra una giornata e l'altra. La posizione è comoda per visitare la città e avere le vie più mondane a breve distanza. Struttura senza troppe pretese ma con tutto quel che serve per trascorrere una vacanza di qualche giorno senza stress. Il personale è simpatico e disponibile. Consigliato per chi non cerca un albergo di lusso.

Eine Woche im August zu viert; zwei im Doppelbett (mit einer gemeinsamen Decke), zwei in Einzelbetten. Nachdem wir uns genügend Handtücher und eine Extra-Decke gekauft hatten und regelmäßig Wasser in den Ablauf im Bad füllten war es ganz komfortabel. Man muß sich über den Klimaanlageneinsatz einigen und auch sonst gut miteinander klar kommen. Außer den Betten und zwei Schränken gab es keine Möbel im Zimmer. Der Zimerservice beschränkte sich während der Woche auf eine Nachlieferung von Klopapier. Den Vorhang ließen wir auf Empfehlung des sehr freundlichen und gut englisch sprechenden Gastgebers weitgehend zu, um die Menschen gegenüber nicht aufzuregen. Das WLAN zeigte bei gleichzeiteiger Nutzung aller vier Zimmergäste keine wesentlichen Schwächen. Bäcker, Schlachter und Tante-Emma-Laden sind quasi nebenan, so dass Mangel an Trinkwasser oder Frühstück gut zu vermeiden ist. Fazit: schon wesentlich schlechter gehaust und auf gleichem Niveau auch wesentlich teurer (in Rom), alles in allem für eine Woche absolut ok.

une expérience pas du tout agréable!
Arrivée avec mon amie à l'hostel, en chambre de 8, une salle odeur dans l'escalier (remontée d'égout..). pas de clef à la porte. pas de clef aux armoires (les anciens occupants étant malencontreusement partis avec). vers 3h30 du matin, 3 personnes débarquent dans la chambre avec leurs lampes torches... (un peu flippant), se couchent dans des lits "au pif", et en faisant pas mal de buit, vrmt pas cool. les 3 salles de bains (3 douches+wc seulement pour tout l'hotel, il ne vaut mieux pas être pressé le matin! sinon les jeunes femmes en bas sont sympa, mais hyper balèze... (20min avec elles pour tenter de réserver un billet de bus par internet sans succès)(alors que je suis finalement parvenu à le faire seul le lendemain sur leur site turc...) enfin bref, pas une superbe expérience! après on a peut-être juste pas eu de la chance... mais là ça faisait beaucoup!

The place was quite far away from Taksim, which is where the bus dropped me off. I got hustled by the taxi drivers and then the staff did little to help me find my way around after I got there. Very disappointing.

Het is te doen.
Als je laag op budget bent, is het een prima hostel. Je zit op een centrale locatie en er zijn veel toeristen in de buurt. Personeel wist me vaak te helpen met het vinden van locatie. Kamer was voorzien van airco en wi-fi. De geur van de riolering was minder.

für das Geld - okay!
Also, wenn man einen komfortablen Hotelurlaub mit Zimmerservice und 3-Gang-Menu plant - dann ist man in diesem Hostel falsch. Ich sag immer: man kriegt das, wofür man bezahlt. Und dieses Hostel ist für Istanbul sehr günstig, bietet aber eben auch keinen sonderlichen Komfort. Zimmer okay, aber nicht viel mehr Platz wie das darin enthaltene Doppelbett. Gemeinschaftsbad, das sauber war. Frühstücksmöglichkeiten im eigenen Café oder entlang der Straße. Wenn man - wie wir - nur zum Schlafen ins Hostel kommt, kann ich es stattdessen nur empfehlen.

Dårlig service
3 venner og jeg havde booket et værelse i en uge, og havde skrevet til hotellet om de havde døgnåbent i receptionen. Dette havde de, men da vi kom første aften, efter over 2 timers venten ved paskontrollen, var der ingen der åbnede. Trods talrigetryk på dørklokken, og enda telefonopkald til 2 forskellige numre på hotellet, måtte vi sande at der ikke var nogen der åbnede. Vi fandt derfor et andet hotel og måtte betale for 2 værelser den aften. vi har ikke fået penge retur for den aften, men det er noget vi vil tage op med Expedia. Udover denne oplevelse var hotellet ikke den helt store oplevelse. ringe stand, OK service, konstant dårlig lugt på værelset og i opgangen.(muligvis vandlås)

cheap hostel, and there is A Reason for that, staff didn't speak English, it was dirty, only one bathroom a floor(16 persons), could feel all the springs in the Madras, every thing was broken, very low standard. reception was in the cafe next door.

Sehr zentral gelegen direkt Istiklal Caddesi
Ich finde nur für einen kurzen Trip um die Stadt zu erkunden und lediglich zu schlafen ist Cheers Midtwon echt gut. Es ist halt ein Hostel und man kann und sollte nicht groß was erwarten. Ich hatte Glück und meine Zimmergenossen waren alle echt nett zusammen gegessen gefeiert also immer wieder gern.

Zentral gelegenes Hostel
Zimmer sehr klein und hellhörig, Badezimmer nicht wirklich sauber und in die Jahre gekommen, es gibt keine Rezeption (diese ist im benachbarten Kaffee) und dort ist auch nicht immer jemand anzutreffen. Beim Check-out am frühen morgen war niemand vor Ort.

I stayed there for three nights for a conference. The place is very nice and close to all types of transportation. The people are very helpful. I really enjoyed the stay there very much.

Hostel is good enough for its cost. Rooms and restrooms are clean, there is airconditioner. The owner of hostel is very freandly person , he always ready to help you to solve your problems.

Ich war untergebracht in einem 6-Bett Zimmer mit hoher Fluktuation. Es gibt keine Rezeption sondern nur ein angeschlossenes Café. Im Zimmer waren nur Schließfächer. Obwohl ich eine Sightseeing Tour gebucht hatte mit Abholung am Hotel ist der Bus nicht gekommen. Lage ist in der Nähe der Metro-Station Tophane (5 Min). Küche war nicht vorhanden. In der Straße sind kleinere Lebensmittel-Geschäfte und kleinere Speise-Lokale. Ungefähr 20 Min zu Fuß über verwinkelte Gassen zum Taksim-Platz, 10 Min zur Haupteinkaufsstraße. Mit der Metro zum historischen Zentrum (Blaue Mosche, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi-Palast). Man sollte gut zu Fuß sein.

Ottima posizione
Io e mio fratello abbiamo alloggiato in questo ostello per una settimana, la posizione è ottima, vicino alla fermata del tram e vicino alla via più frequentata di Istanbul, ma non troppo, quindi la notte si dorme perfettamente. Proprietario molto cordiale e disponibile. L'unica pecca riguarda il bagno in comune che non veniva pulito proprio tutti i giorni. Inoltre il letto non è mai stato rifatto. Vicino ci sono tanti posti in cui mangiare, comprare dolci, frutta, vestiti, sigarette, ecc.. non manca niente!

Сразу скажу, что за отличную цену мы получили качественный номер с отдельной ванной (а это для нас основное условие). В остальном - просто очень хороший хостел. Номер был чистый и приятный, и самое главное - добрый и отзывчивый персонал. По расположению - 10-15 минут пешком до Таксима, 10-15 минут на трамвае до остановки Султанахмет (где все исторические достопримечательности). Отдельно хочу упомянуть кафешку, вплотную примыкающую к хостелу. Там можно заказать очень вкусную домашнюю турецкую еду :)

le seul avantage de cet hôtel est son emplacement pour le reste l’hôtel est plus que sommaire voire même plus que defraichi . Tres mauvais rapport qualité prix chambre à 40€ au 3 eme étage sans ascenseur avec salle de bain commune . Nous n'y retournerons jamais !

Nice and clean hostel!
Nice and clean hostel in the proximity of all the bars and restaurants of Beyoglu. The best hookahs of Istanbul are right down the street. All the major sites are in Sultanamat, but taking the tram or walking over the Galata bridge isn't a problem. The hostel has a cafe downstairs, which serves really good breakfast and snacks. Bathrooms are clean and room is spacious. The staff was very helpful in all matters, even when I locked myself out of my room once.

Un bon rapport qualité prix pour le centre d Istanbul, la. Station de tramway tophane est à 5 minutes ( 4 stations de sultanhamet) a 10 min à pieds de lartere commercial principale . Une super situation si vous cherchez une AJ sur Istanbul
