Thank you for your feedback, Betina. We have had an unusual winter with record snow and low temperatures back until the late 60s. Everyone did the best they could to keep up on it. After your comment we purchased a bag of ice melt and placed it at the bottom of each set of steps with a scoop so that people can now spread sone cement in front of them as they walk through the parking lot. The parking lot is typically meticulously maintained and not slippery, even without any ice melt, but we don't want this situation to be repeated where guests are feeling scared or unsafe walking across the parking lot. Thank you for letting us know so we can make it better for future guests!!!

I'm sorry we fell short of the expectation. It's hard to meet expectations in an affordable, shared living situation where it is like living with room mates. There is a certain amount of tolerance required and effort to work things out in shared living. I wish we would have known about the discomfort in the kitchen and the morning noise once this guest became aware of it, so that we could fix it for the remainder of the stay. 3-stars really hurts our business for a situation that was clearly disclosed in that we can't guarantee the behavior of other guests or residents in the home and can gaurantee that your private room will be spotless and you'll have a secure room which you can lock with a deadbolt. The common areas are cleaned thoroughly twice per month and other people are actively using the space as people check in and out. Guests who are uncomfortable with shared living would probably benefit from paying the higher price for a private unit. We always do our best to fix everything for guests, if we are made aware of it. We addressed this issue, unfortunately after the guest check out when we became aware of it.
