Staff were friendly. We showed up at 1am and the young man working the front was very accommodating. Breakfast room was spacious and well stocked probably could have used some fresh fruit. Rooms were clean but on the small side. Overall I would stay here again.

Walls were thin but everyone using the facility was quiet. Rooms were clean but had a smell, realized after that the smell was from the shower curtain; I am sure once they replace the shower curtain the smell will go with it. Breakfast was meh, it would have been nice to have some sort of protein, but everything in the breakfast room was clean. Beds were comfortable, rooms were clean, and front desk staff was pleasant. Hotel is located next door to the DQ, and across the street to a gas station. It was a good place to spend the next before getting back on the highway to our final destination.

Super 8 conveniently located. Main floor room had a very clean and comfortable bed, room was definitely clean but a bit dated. I don't like the carpeted floors as they seem less hygienic. Breakfast included was the usual fair - fresh fruit would be a better choice than fruit cocktail. Very accommodating staff. Parking was right out front with convenient side doors that locked later at night. As a solo traveller I felt very safe. Would use again.

Front desk staff was very kind and accommodating. Despite having been yelled at by another guest who made her cry. I would have asked gues to leave and flagged the name to NEVER stay at the chain again. Drunk is NEVER an e cuse for being belligerent. Staff member handled it exceptionally well .

Our suite was spacious but hadn’t been cleaned properly. There was garbage (and medication!) along the base of the bed. There was hair in the bathtub and the closet had bits of garbage on the shelves. Also, the one closet door was broken and barely hanging on. The carpet was so stained I had to leave my socks in as I didn’t want my feet touching the floor!

Normally a good location and I’ve stayed here on many occasions. The problem? Incompetence from the manager checking me in on my most recent stay. Charged me the cost of my room for two nights plus an additional $100 for security as one lump sum. I noticed the charge immediately and addressed it, but to no avail. They reversed the whole charge of $283 and recharged my credit card in two separate transactions, which should’ve been done properly at check in. Now my card is frozen from the bank due to “possible fraud alert” and I cannot book a room for tonight. Thankyou so much Super 8 manager for screwing me around! Also, they refuse to fix their hot tub for many months now and highly inconvenience everyone by sending them to the YMCA in the downtown core a few kilometers away. My advice? Pick a different hotel to stay in. I will never go back to this hotel as this is the second time the same manager has done this.

This deposit is promptly refunded upon check-out.On the day of your stay, we understand that you were short of funds after checking in. As a gesture of goodwill for your loyalty, on top of the special room prices, we refunded the CAD 283 back to your credit card for two nights to help you return your deposit ASAP and charged the card for the room with taxes.We have been offering the YMCA pool as a compliment for about 5 months now. I understand your frustration and I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. Your feedback is valuable, and I will ensure that it is shared with the management team for further review and improvement.If there's anything else you'd like to discuss or if you have further feedback, please feel free to reach out to us directly.
