It bothers me that neither Marriott or Expedia informed me before I booked that I’d have to pay for parking at the hotel I was staying at! Both Marriott and Expedia should notify travelers of this as part of the reservation process. Failure to do that means that both are trying to hide this from their customers and THAT’S NOT RIGHT!!’

My daughter went to Kansas Cutynwith a friend to celebrate her 15th birthday. We reserved a suite with the understanding it had two separate rooms, so the two teenage girls could have privacy. My wife even called to confirm and was told by the oerson at the front desk this was this case. When they got there this wasn't the case. When my wife told me about this I called the front desk immediately with the hope my Silver Elite status would at least hold some clout to rectify the situation. I was told by the front desk there was nothing that could be done. Disappointing!

I chose this hotel because of its historic character. I found my room drafty, and never received housekeeping. Had to go to the front desk to get coffee packets for in-room coffee. Internet access required signing up for a Marriott benefits package I did not desire. Consequently, I had no interest for doing important business without leaving the hotel -- was my biggest complaint. My overall impression is that this place doesn't take good care of its customers, for the price.

The location is a very short walk to the Plaza, even for a cup of coffee. The building is old, but clean. It was comfortable and a good price for the location.

Just ok
The Hotel did not have a full functioning restaurant as advertised so we had to go elsewhere, although they had a breakfast that was ok, but the person taking orders was having a meltdown with other staff and her issues made things very uncomfortable for the few of us that were around. The guy that checked us in was great but the rest of the staff seemed non-existent. I could not even get someone at the front desk to get an itemized bill when we checked out so I just left my room keys there. The only thing nice was that we were close to the happenings in the country club plaza area so we could walk in 2 minutes ans the suite was a nice size.

Loved the place and location. Friendly staff and very clean. If I had one complaint, it would be trying to read the bottles in the shower.... very hard to read for those of us that wear reading glasses!

When I made reservation 2 months before our stay,whicch was for medical visits for 2 of 5 of us disabled, We showed up and reservation wasn't right, took 3 hours to get straighten up. The room they finally got us into had 1 bed and small, when they saw we had 2 wheelchairs! For a hotel this expensive and on the plaza was absolutely awful. We will NEVER STAY AGAIN OR SUGGEST ANYONE TO IF YOU ARE HANDICAP

The only thing we didn’t like is that there was a window in the shower that looked out to another window in another building. Nothing covered the window so it appeared that the room in the other building had full view of you while taking a shower.

The hotel gave a parking voucher but you had to renew at 12 hours which was in the middle of the night so we got charged for parking which was 20 dollars. Just pay attention if you don’t want to pay!

Great stay .... AC is wonky!
Great stay except the AC. Set to 67 and it would stay at 70+. Lowered it to 65 and room was at 61.

It was a very nice room and hotel. My only complaint is for the price, a free breakfast buffet would be nice. Or if they can't offer that, they should at least offer a resturant instead of a bar with limited sitting. For the price of the breakfast meals, it should be served on real dishes instead of paper or stryofoam containers.

Left some expensive earbuds in the room. I called a couple of hours after my checkout and they were not able to find them, which means they were stolen. Not okay.

Overall, the hotel was fine, but our car was broken into overnight, directly across the street from the hotel. And although the hotel obviously can't control that parking area, they advised us that it was safe to park there. They also admitted a car was actually stolen the week before. Unfortunately, the police also told us their valet option doesn't appear to be much better. They (the police) said they have responded to multiple valet parking incidents, and the parking facility has no cameras.
