La estructura un poco laberíntica distribuida en cinco edificios comunicados en el sótano es a veces inconveniente. Oferta gastronómica escasa. Algunas deficiencias en instalaciones y mantenimiento.

Very unpleasant, cash only, outdated
Do not do this to yourself! This place is outdated, weird, and uncomfortable. Here is what we did not like: - You can only pay in cash, they are under some sanctions, or mafia or whatever, but they are quite aggressive at the end that you need to pay cash - Rooms are spacious and clean but need major update - sinks are cracked, beds uncomfortable - SPA is very outdated, feels more like hospital, got an overpriced massage that was weird, creepy and in not so clean and comfortable environment - Hotel is kind of dark everywhere, evenings feels really uncomfortable, there is nobody around, not lively at all - Overall, if you want to enjoy Karlovy Vary and be in a nice hotel, have decent SPA experience, and feel like you enjoyed your time there, this is absolutely not the hotel to go!

My experience at this hotel was bad. To start with: 1. Hotel credit card machine was not working. So everything had to be paid with cash. Who would expect to be walking around with 15,000 - 20,000 kronor in cash?? Going to city center and getting the cash cost us an extra $85 in transaction fees and poor conversion rates. 2. Being a small town and boutique hotel, very few people speak English. We made an appointment and went to the spa at the time. It was our first experience in a "salt cave". Nobody to tell us what to do. We lost about 10 minutes in this experience, but had to pay full price. Same thing with the mineral bath. Lost few minutes because there was nobody to guide us, but had to pay full price. Finally at check out time, we were told that their credit card system is not working for a month!!!. If that was the case, the hotel should have informed the guests in ADVANCE so that we would have made alternate arrangements. As for the hotel itself, it is a very nice property and enjoyable if the hotel can do a better job.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff were very nice !we enjoyed the spa and the room, but We had one problem in the room The AC wasn’t working and they sent us somebody to fix it but he couldn’t. When we ask for another room the lady said it was full and her solution to the AC problem was to open the window. We were very disappointed and couldn’t sleep because of the noise outside. Beautiful hotel but no AC.

Unser Aufenthalt war sehr schön. Die Lage des Hotels ist super. Die Wellnessanwendungen waren sehr gut. Das Frühstück fanden wir zu teuer und beim Abendessen am Buffet war leider fast alles kalt, deshalb gingen wir am nächsten Tag in die Stadt zum essen.

מלון מקסים, מפואר. שידרגו אותנו לסוויטה ענקית. החניה במלון בתשלום 20 יורו. יש בריכה אחת במלון עם מים בטמפ' של 28 מעלות. ג'קוזי חם אחד ו 2 סאונות. מהמלון אפשר לצאת לטייל ביער, המרחק מהעיר בערך 10 דק הליכה. יש בקרבת המלון הרבה מסעדות.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut. Die Zimmer bzw. Einrichtungen und die Flure sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Den ekstra seng i værelset var ikke god at sove i. Ved sengetid, måtte vi have personale op og hjælpe med at reparere den, da der manglede lameller midt i sengen. Vi havde også forventet tre almindelige senge - ikke en opredning i fodenden af de almindelige senge.

Leider habe ich keine gute und erst recht keine 5*-Erfahrung gemacht. Zunächst wollte ich gern stornieren, musste dann leider feststellen, dass die nur bis 13 Uhr möglich ist und es bereits 15 Uhr war. Die Kollegin der Reservierungsabteilung konnte mir nicht helfen und bat mich eine Email zu schreiben. Sofort gemacht, jedoch ohne Reaktion. Am nächsten Tag niemanden erreicht, weder telefonisch noch per Mail. Am Freitag endlich jemanden erreicht, der mir sagte, es sei nicht möglich Kostenfrei zu stornieren. Aha - ob sie mir das auch nochmal hätten sagen können? Meine Mails waren im Spam des Hotels gelandet. Ich will mich beschweren, jedoch sei der Supervisor nicht da - er würde mich zurückrufen. Nie passiert... Leider sehe unprofessionell diese Interaktion. Ich habe als Dank dann mit der 602 das kleinste Zimmer des Hotels unterm Dach bekommen, mit einem surrender Exit-Schild über der Tür. Ich bin vom Umgang und dem Zimmer leider sehr enttäuscht und möchte nicht wieder kommen. Die Zimmer und die sonstige Anlage waren sehr sauber und gepflegt. Thai -Massage war auch prima.

We are very glad that you appreciated the cleanliness and Thai massages, as as we constantly strive to provide the very best for all our guests. Let us please react on your booking process and request regarding free cancellation. You made your reservation 9.2, you could change your reservation till 19.2. free of charge. This was not done. Whole this time hotel kept the room reserved for you. We have faced the period of the fully booked hotel when we did not have any free room available and we canceled all other requests and reservations still keeping the room for you. Of course, we could not cancel your booking free of charge at the last moment, since we had no chance to sell the room anymore, and lost all other requests. It would be also fair to mention that you were proposed as compensation for your second period with a huge upgrade from Compact room up to Apartment by our manager. There is written correspondence available about this fact. You did not react to this proposal. The reason you did not get the upgrade is only because you decided to use your reservation for the first period as well (the one you wanted to cancel) and came to the hotel. So hotel kept all its obligations towards you. You have paid the Compact room, you got the Compact room exactly. Yes, it is not a big room, but this is for you to choose and what you have ordered. We have 10 different categories available, so you could choose any of them. Not a 5 Star facility
Definitely not 5 star. 3 to 3.5 star by North American or Western European standards. Staff at hotel and spa lacking desire to satisfy customer. No spa atmosphere at all more of a socialist era hospital/rehab centre. Spa receptionist will keep answering calls from other spa employees while you are trying to purchase treatments. Lots of things broken and out of order. Spa employees lack proper spa/customer service etiquette. Very little communication with clients. No real is effort is made to sell or explain treatments. We just gave up after 2 days and explored Karlovy Vary instead.

Overall was ok except the first night where we asked to be shifted to another terrible small room due to a leakage in our room, next morning I called the receptionist who offered me another room in different building, I refused and returned to my old room after it was repaired, for this I’m entitled for a refund of the first night room rate.
