The towels were filthy. There were people sleeping in their cars in the parking lot. There’s no breakfast. No housekeeping. The floors were filthy. The bathroom was small, stinky, and dirty. The outside is definitely trashed and needs to be cleaned up.

There was hair in the bed and something plastered all over several surfaces, including walls, tables, picture frames and floor. There was no knob to turn on the shower it was an old rusted out welding wrench and it was very dirty anyway. Half of the lights in the room didn’t work and curtains don’t close all of the way, I had to use a hair clip.

The room smelled like sewage. Could not see car/parking lot from room. The breakfast room contained a pot of coffee - no cups with lids to go. Appeared that some guests were living there.

To call this place a Flea Bag would be insulting to fleas. I was greeted by a woman with a tooth missing who was taking care of her very young son (ultimately had handed me the key). I assume this place is used to house the almost homeless in our society as the few folks I saw were so strung out, dirty. Some rooms had plants outside clearly people live here. The bedding was not fresh I would not use any of it as a drop cloth or beach blanket. No tissues, the tub was filthy, the ceiling in bathroom was hanging down. Filthy behind the night stand, lampshades looked like they were covered in nicotine. I was exhausted from a 14-hour drive, but I ran out to get some cleaners to try to sterilize as best I could. I used a can of disinfectant on the bed pillows. I knew it was inexpensive, but I say the Wyndam name so thought it could not be that bad.

Odor and fire alarm
Pool was black. Our room smelled like ssewer. And while we were sleeping the fire alarm went off woke us up at 620am. No coffee machine in room and neighbors kept us up outside our room laughing and havung there dog bark. Nor a enjoyable weekend.

Mr.StevenReally sorry for inconvenience about your stay.Guest had tried to smoke in the room which is why alarm went off,which is why that guest was asked to leave the facility.we have 24 hr coffee bar at the front lobby at your comfort

I want a Refund!!!
I didn't stay here. I checked out the same day! The room was horrible: plastic covering a hole in the shower, moldy shower & tub, no hangers, no hairdryer, rusty lamps.

Eww.
Room was dirty. Tub was filthy. Said non smoking but had definitely been smoked in. Light bulbs physically broken in lamps. No remote for tv. Car was broken into. Wash clothes didn't look washed. Just disgusting! Told morning manager about it and the lackadaisical response was "yea, people steal stuff here all the time. Nothing ever gets replaced" But assured us that the police patrol thru there every 30 minutes. Even the managers car was broken into that night. We checked in at 8pm and we're out before 7am. Not worth the $55 we paid.

Stench Hotel
Checkd in at the Hotel for a non-smoking room to find it reeking of cigarette smell & mildew. The ceiling had peeling and an enormous water stain on the wall coming from the ceiling down the center of the wall. Went back to the lobby to request a different room and even the lobby reeked of a midew stench with Dead flowers around. Saw another two different rooms and was so disappointed knowing I just lost my money because i refused too stay there at all. I turned in the keys and left. No wonder the parking lot was empty and lady said the so called free wifi wasn't available due to internet being down..

We were told when we arrived that our reservations had been cancelled. We received no notification from expedia or hotel staff. We were told we had the room for 1 night. Then when we went to check out the hotel employee said we had it for that night as well. This after I had booked somewhere else. When asked why we were not notified the night before her excuse was she was to busy to call our room and tell us. Needless to say it was a mess. Spent 2 hours of my vacation trying to get a refund. Not sure who dropped the ball hotel or expedia.

Only a place to Put Our Heads
When we got to the motel it looked like it had seen better days. They had no record of our reservation. While we were discussing this a man walked in and booked a room ahead of us. When we were finally given a room it was not the cleanest. The next morning we passed on the breakfast as it was not very appetizing. On checkout, the front desk person would not give me a receipt. She said my Expedia email confirmation was my receipt. I've never been to a hotel/motel and not gotten a receipt on checkout. She assured me there would be no additional charges to the bill (she would not give us a room until I gave her my credit card number). I would not stay at this hotel again. It's only saving grace was the Cracker Barrel restaurant beside it.

This hotel very rundown carpet was filthy and at reception did not have a record of my reservation I had to show my email of conformation plus proof that I paid. At least the bed was comfy. You could see outside thru the door frame needless to say if I hadn't paid I wouldn't have stayed.Hotels.com should not offer this hotel

Expedia dropped the ball
The hotel no longer does business with Expedia and therefore did not have our reservation. We had made the reservation almost 2 months in advance. The only room available had no lock on the door, but the staff was thoughtful enough to open the door for us and let us spend the night. we used the interior security bar and propped a chair against the door for some security. This was a non-smoking room but the previous occupant had smoked heavily in the room and it stank. Not the hotels fault and again they had no plans on renting it out. breakfast was included but the selection of food items was extremely limited. Still we were grateful of not having to drive around that night looking for another hotel option, it was late and we were tired, and avoided the hassle of getting a refund from Expedia.

Ok for traveling as a place for a one night stay
Staff was nice. Fast in getting information and room keys. Room was fair size, bed comfortable, the room appeared clean. Did note the carpet was wet at the bathroom sink, looking saw it was from a leaking drain pipe. Later saw roaches on the wall and table area around coffeemaker table.

Owner was at the front desk at check in. He was very rude about booking online thru here. He complained that he had to wait for the money for the room and how we were going it for free since we booked online. He was made a copy of my credit card which i dont agree with since it was alreadt paid for. The room was ok but there were bugs in the room. We will not be staying there again.

Poorly maintained
First room assigned hadn't been made up - trash in the room, unmade beds and a live roach on a pillow! Second room was slight improvement. However, no towels or toilet paper. Went down to office and got myself. While there, people who checked in behind me said they were given a room with guests already in it! Lots of other properties at this exit. Choose one of them instead.

This hotel has very, very basic accommodations. The price is very indicative of this. But, all was clean and the staff were very responsive to a problem that occurred with the room. Nice staff and easy to park a large vehicle.

not very nice!
This motel was not a very nice place to stay. The man on evening shift at the front desk was very slow. They take a photo copy of your credit card even though I had paid on line! I was not comfortable with that. The sheet had stains and a hole. The shower curtain had a 5 inch band of mildew on the bottom and there was a ring in the tub. Breakfast was very basic. Toast with butter(no jelly offered), mini donuts, two cereal choices, coffee, and juice blend drink. The man at the front desk in the morning ( I assume the owner), was not real friendly when I asked for the photocopy of my credit card. He bordered on being rude. The TV in the room was very nice. The location is good. I do not plan to stay there again.

Visit dad for the Easter weekend.
We didn't stay! Chris went to look at the room and almost was pushed off the balcony by a drunk. A TERRIBLE place. We went next door and rented a very nice room and used Hotels.com for that place. The owner was hateful when we tried to explain the situation. One of our nurses husband is a plain-clothes cop with the St Marys PD and told us that they have had several drug busts at the Travelodge. NEVER AGAIN THERE!

Rude Staff and Possible Fraud Problems
I booked this a month before staying and had planned to stay with my friend and my goddaughter. I did not end up staying the night at this hotel; so, I cannot say if the room was clean or comfortable. When I arrived the hotel asked for a copy of my I.D and Credit Card. I handed them over assuming they were going to look at them and possibly slide my card for security purposes. Nope. They took my Credit Card and I.D and began to make physical copies of both. When I asked the man what he was doing he said it was "hotel policy." I said I was uncomfortable with them having a physical copy of my information and asked for the copies. The man then called for his manager and the manager became irate that I would question this policy. The situation escalated when I said I didn't feel comfortable staying there and wanted my information back (the copy of my I.D. and Credit Card). He finally gave the copies to me and then tore up my reservation in front of me. I left as quickly as possible. On a positive note, Expedia was FANTASTIC with handling the situation. They did everything they could to make me feel comfortable and attempting to get me a refund. I felt awful for the representative from Expedia that had to talk with the manager of the hotel, but she (the Expedia Rep) was incredibly friendly and helpful to me. I will definitely be using Expedia in the future. They take care of their customers.

The location was close to why I was there. The hotel is in greatly need of updating inside and out. The carpet and furniture in my room need updated.The service was great from the maid service to the front date.

Disgusting full of Cockroaches
Once I walked in I saw 2 insects then I letter the bed sheets and there was a huge colony of cockroaches creeping everywhere. The room smells real bad. This hotel used to be a Country Hearth Inn and it was so clean and nice few years ago. Don't book any room in this filthy hotel

The room was ok but they charge me double, I pay hotel.com and they charge me a different amount when I got there. Now I have to wait 7 days for my refund.

Can take it or leave it. No toilet paper in room upon check in. screws falling out of lock on door.asked for towels for shower, was told I had to wait until they were washed. Asked for receipt upon check out and was told they would have to mail it to me.

Receptionist outside having a smoke scurried inside as we arrived. Accommodating enough lady but not at all professional. Room past it's sell by date. Damp around bottom of wall, wall mounted TV looked as if it was about to fall off. Shower room moldy with some handyman repairs but it worked and water was hot. A/C unit worked but sounded like a freight-train. Bed ok but pillows scarse and very very lumpy . Breakfast very basic but enough to get you on your way to Cracker Barrel. If it's all you can find and you are desperate to get your head down then go for it otherwise go past it.

Beware of Bed Bugs!
We didn't actually stay here. We checked the beds as soon as we got keys for the rooms. The first room had bed bugs, while the second room (probably had bed bugs) had burn holes in the sheets in a non-smoking room. We should have known when we first arrived because the place looked abandoned. The staff was friendly but it does not make up for the bed bugs. Hotels.com should not even promote/advertise this location.
