Hotel neuf et propre. Nous avons grandement apprécié notre séjours d’une semaine. Personnel courtois et de service. Le personnel à la réception sont en mesure de répondre rapidement à nos questions ou de fournir le service souhaité. L’hôtel est tranquille dans la sections des chambres et plus animée de côté de la piscine et de la plage. Possibilité d’avoir un souper avec musicien au resto de la plage de l’hôtel. Diveshop très professionnelle et ils nous ont offert de bons conseils sur les plongées sécuritaire en diveshore.

property was was great overall, pool, lazy river, rooms, restaurants all good, would definitely stay again. Had a two bedroom connecting room , plenty of space for two people.Great location w/ pool and lazy river steps from our patio. A couple of things i noticed that could be better were more menu options at Bari and Sunset, daily specials would be nice, also no bar soap or microwave in room personaly we had no use for it but most rooms today have one, parking lot is very tight if you have an off site rental pick up and last thing , front desk knowing that we were from usa never offered us power adapters, but overall we loved the resort and would definitely stay again.

We stayed for the first two weeks of March at Chogogo in a Deluxe Garden View apartment. Generally we were very pleased. The staff is great. Everyone spoke English. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained, the house reef was great for diving and excellent for snorkeling. The main restaurant on the property was very good and the premiere restaurant was excellent. Our only gripe was the lack of comfortable chairs in the room and the absence of a microwave oven in the kitchenette. There really is no good place to just sit and relax in the room; you’re either at the kitchen table or in bed. This might work for a shorter stay, but for two weeks, it’s not ideal. That said, we loved Chogogo and plan on returning. It offers great value.

We stayed 8 nights as a family of 4 in March 2024. We loved Chogogo for its spacious rooms (we had 2 rooms connecting), pool, lazy river and beachfront with great snorkeling. The food was great although restaurant service sometimes slow but we are North American so the standards may just be different, not necessarily a bad thing. Overall highly recommend for a family vacation.

Chogogo was an excellent choice for our visit to Bonaire. The rooms were spacious and clean, the balcony was a nice addition, the bathroom was a good size, and the kitchen area was excellent! It was so nice to be able to stock our fridge with drinks, fruit, and leftovers from the restaurants we went to. The ocean right in front of the hotel was an awesome place to snorkel! A little bit of a rocky entrance, but overall a beautiful spot to swim, relax, or get up-close and personal with hundreds of fish of so many varieties. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The pool and lazy river were perfect and never crowded while we were there. Plenty of lounge chairs around the pool! The food was decent and reasonably priced compared to a lot of the restaurants in town. We would definitely stay at this resort again in the future.

This resort is fairly new so everything is in great condition. The food at the three dining sites was excellent. I would highly recommend a dinner at BINA It's a great value and offers a top shelf dining experience. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating It's not very far to walk or bike into town either if you want to explore beyond the property. Less than a mile away along the waterfront. I would say you need to plan on going to one of their larger supermarkets to provision your unit. There is nothing right near the property. We stopped on our way from the airport to Chogogo to get things. Our cab driver was cool about it. We just gave him some extra cash to work that in. Saved renting a car later to get things. The only thing you may want to consider is bring a throw or blanket. The rooms do not have them on the beds. Not sure why. We just set the AC to a comfortable setting to offset the lack of a blanket. If you are someone that likes your room cold and you cover up. Better bring one. All in all a very nice property. We had a great stay.

Don’t expect much
The hotel itself is nice but expect bare minimum. Rooms are good but no place to sit in room and relax also why offer kitchenette when you are in a food dessert with no shops anywhere close to buy food or water. A bottle of water at hotel is $7. Also the mattress is thin with only a sheet top and bottom and thin pillow. No luxury or extras here. Not even hand soap. Coming off of COVID I would think hand soap is top of mind to keep the spread of germs at bay. Also we waited on average 30 minutes to be served meals in restaurant. Plan on breakfast lunch and dinner because there are not many options to eat in the area. I suggest opening a small mini market onsite allowing customers to purchase snacks, drinks, personal hygiene items etc.

The hotel grounds were very well maintained and the staff extremely helpful and friendly! The snorkeling in front of the hotel was great. Kids and adults loved the lazy river. Room was spacious and clean, but it would have been even better if there were salt and pepper shakers. Could use a better menu and different options, since 2 restaurants offered the exact same menu. Overall a great stay at a very nice hotel on a fantastic island!

The resort is absolutely beautiful, and all of the staff are very nice. We had a deluxe ocean view room, and the view was beautiful. We liked having a small kitchen and a nice size balcony to enjoy the view. There are plenty of supermarkets/grocery stores close by. The balcony has a ceiling fan and 2 comfortable chairs and a small table. The pool and lazy river are very fun. We also did some scuba diving with Scuba Do located on the property. There are just a few suggestions for the resort: Provide hand soap – the only soap was the body/hair wash in the shower and the very diluted dish soap at the kitchen sink. Provide hand towels – only 2 small bath towels in the bathroom. Provide a box of Kleenex/tissues. Provide more than 2 tiny pillows for a king size bed – the 2 pillows we had were smaller than US standard size pillows. Provide a lightweight blanket for the bed – we only had sheets on the bed. Yes, in Bonaire it’s not “cold”. But with the AC blowing down on the bed, a lightweight blanket would be nice. Fortunately we had a couple of large beach towels we brought that we used as a blanket. Provide plastic drinking glasses in the kitchen – glassware is very nice, but with tile floors and balconies – breakage will happen and did happen – we broke one glass on our last night washing it in the sink. Provide a doormat outside each front door to the room to help with keeping sand/dirt off the floor. Maid service shouldn’t be every 3 days – at least every other day.

Bonaire snorkeling trip.
Nearly new property stting next to an excellent reef for diving and snorkeling. Expect to see mostly European visitors as well as much of the staff. English is spoken by nearly everyone so communication is not an issue.

Loved the property! Service someone’s was a tad slow. But the food was amazing! So it made up for it. There are primarily Dutch people that stay at the resort, which was cool to learn their culture. I would stay here again.

Sensationelles Diving-Center (gehört zum Hotel)
Eine wunderschöne Anlage mit tadellosen Service. Unbedingt Velos mieten. (Sind nur für einen ganzen Tag zu mieten), resp. Die Kosten sind immer pro Tag. Das absolute Highlight ist eine Tour mit dem zum Hotel gehörenden Diving Center.

Hotel and Dive shop are great. Staff is very nice and tries to accommodate your every wish if they can. Now for the bad part - they are doing construction next door (no fault of Chogogo) but tgey start at 7am and the excavator and machinery is very loud and obnoxious ALL day long jack hammering for the week i stayed there this June 2023. Hotel is great tho. Could use another option for eating tho. Both restaurants serve off same menu.

Very good location, nice room, clean, great pool, very helpfull staff. I missed an iron in the room. Had to borrow one for an hour. More TV channels would be great, did not like the ones available. A blanket to cover when sleeping would have been great. Overall a very nice hotel for a great price. Would stay there again.

A beautiful resort. Rooms are excellent size and each unit has a kitchen which is very well stocked. We made breakfast in our room daily and had everything that we needed. Our room overlooked the ocean and was stunning. Lots of lounge chairs and you have chairs on your patio. Rooms are only cleaned every 3 days but you know this in advance and they have brooms and dustbins for sweeping up. You can always exchange your towels for clean ones no questions asked at any time. Staff are excellent and very helpful. The beach bar ambiance is fantastic and there is nightly live music. The restaurant dinner menu is limited and I would only rate the food quality as 3* with the exception of the Jack Daniels cheeseburger which is 5*. Prices are reasonable for the island. One issue that North Americans will struggle with is that the beds only have a top sheet on them. No blankets. You have to ask for a blanket when you check in and they are limited in number. Lots of parking is available and free and you will need a car to get anywhere on the island. Overall I think that this resort is top notch and would highly recommend it.

This was a beautiful resort and very welcoming. Excellent location, beautiful snorkeling and diving onsite. Their onsite Scuba Do Dive center was fantastic too. My family of four loved their beachside bar and restaurant and friendly staff. Everyone there was very considerate and kind. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment since we had teenagers with us. The rooms were beautiful and clean and we loved their SMEG appliances. The AC worked well too for warmer nights. Overall, we had a fantastic trip and would like to return.
