This property needs a good cleaning of the rooms, replace damaged and soiled furniture, the lighting in the rooms is terrible, The decor in rooms is 1990. Very tired but everything worked ok. The front desk staff didn't know what to do with my AAA card for discount.

We got the family suite. It was spacious, nice. I didn’t care for the pool, it was too small with a lot of kids swimming. Overall it was nice and quiet, right next to the highway.

My experience at the Country Inn and Suites in Lansing needs to be put on blast.Had to go to the bathroom after my travels, toilet paper floating in toilet I flushed, I go to the bathroom.. toilet will not flush. I take the lid off the toilet, mess with the mechanism and get it to flush. This had to be done each time I had to flush. TV damaged and screen is pointing downward so I have to use my coat and a Kleenex box to prop it up. There was some sort of disgusting ICK in the bedskirt, woke up to a spider in the ceiling above my head,no regular coffee in my room, had to get dressed to go get a cup of coffee. Took a shower, needed to blow dry my hair,dryer doesn’t work. Get dressed, head to the front desk, she tells me she has to get one from the 3rd floor. She shows up at my door and hands me a box with a new blow dryer. She doesn’t take it out and dispose of the box, just hands it to me like “Here’s that dryer you asked for”. But folks, here is the worst. I, a woman, was traveling alone. I left for a while. I was probably gone 3-4 hours. I intentionally left my DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door. I didn’t want anyone in my room, I didn't need towels, I didn’t need the bed made. I approach my door, it is propped open with the arm of the lock,I enter slowly, say Hello, no response. Search the room, bed made,trash gone. Go to front desk, employee goes to my room. He says “housekeeping must have left it open”!I was pissed.I could have been cleaned out,$ taken or worse! Do better!

I had mostly an average stay. The bed was comfy and the amenities were as expected. My overall complaint was with the WiFi - it could be sluggish on my tablet while neither my personal nor work computer would connect. I used my phone as a hotspot for most of the stay.

The place was wonderful for the price! I was pleasantly surprised. The Staff were nice and helpful. I will make this a place to stay while visiting Lansing.

Acceptable hotel for short stay or budget conscience family. Dated and in need of a refresh. Staff was very friendly, breakfast was on par with other hotel chains.

Our room had holes and damage in it and the electrical outlet was left unlocked which is dangerous when you have 3 kids with you. Guy working at night was very unpleasant but every other employee was amazing! Room was clean but like I said had damages. When asked the night guy about speaking to a manager he just smirked and laughed. Not sure if we will return there in the future or not. He wouldn’t work with Expedia about giving us a discount on our room due to the damage that was there

I liked the location, that was it. What i didnt like was that it was dirty, the outside was icy where they didn't salt, most of all, i found a bed bug on the mattress. The front desk did refund me, but i can plainly see she knew there was previous complaints on the matter. She did not act surprised when i showed her the video of the bug crawling on the mattress.

Pool was closed; property is extremely run down and in need of renovations. Windows were very old and thin, which made for a very noisy stay. And cold! Lighting was terrible. With some improvements made to the building, I think it will be a very nice establishment! The staff was very professional and courteous.

Furniture in suite i rented was tayyered and worn. Chair had holes in arms with padding showing. There weren't any charging spots in room as well.

Disgusting
The front desk employee was absolutely amazing. She was kind, friendly and helpful. That was the only positive of the entire thing. The rooms were gross, the pool was gross, the hallways were gross. Everything was just absolutely not okay. I was there for 2 hours, had to switch rooms three times because of cleanliness or other issues. And I had to end up leaving because I just couldn't stay in a hotel that was absolutely horrendous.

Hi, Andrew. Thank you for you feedback. We will remove those stains asap or change the mattress and bedding if they don't come out. We apologize for that. Our staff should be stripping pads and inspecting all mattresses and underneath. We apologize for that. This hotel was recently purchased by new owners and will be completely remodeled this year! In the meantime, please try us again because your issue will be handled!
