Concert Landing
We went to Foxwoods for a concert and the rooms there were ridiculously priced. I ended finding this little gem on VRBO. Would highly recommend, especially for families. Kids had a blast

Tranquility
Awesome property directly in the lakeside with an amazing view upstairs and downstairs! The perfect, cozy, battery recharging getaway with space for several couples, but we were just two very pleased people. Will stay again soon!!!!

Foxwoods weekend getaway
Me and my girlfriend stayed here for a weekend at Foxwoods. What a great location super close to Foxwoods yet secluded in private on a beautiful lake can’t beat it will definitely be back.

Perfect for the holiday
We stayed at the cottage over the holiday to visit family in the area with our two dogs. It was a perfect quiet spot, where we could relax in between all the hustle and bustle. Host was friendly and kind, and we had everything we needed. Will definitely keep this place in mind when we travel in the area for the holiday again. Thank you, Bobby!

Anniversary Getaway
My wife and I brought our dog on a nice little 2 day trip for our 4 year wedding anniversary. It was our first vacation with our beautiful doggy! Waking up next to the lake was so beautiful! And our boy couldnt get enough of the lake! He was sunbathing right on the deck!

Paradise
What a wonderful place. If you're looking for a peaceful, quiet vacation this is the place for you. The lake is beautiful no motor boats allowed perfect for kayaking and swimming. Sitting in the hot tub while overlooking the lake is paradise. I would recommend this place to all my friends and family.

Relaxation and memories
I recently spent a few days out on the lake with my family and our experience was truly exceptional. The house has everything you need and more. The hot tub and gas fireplace added a special layer to an already great time. The lake is exceptionally serene and quiet, but there is still tons of room for fun and adventure. Kayaking and canoeing was great, swimming and fishing was also enjoyed by all. Overall, time spent with loved ones, game night, and movie night in this quaint cottage was well worth a return visit!

Truly a wonderful lakefront property
This was a wonderful, family friendly cottage! We loved everything about it, especially the 2 decks with gorgeous views, propane fire pit, kayaks & paddleboard, and hot tub. There were so many nice, personal touches throughout and you can tell the owners definitely care. We have rented through VRBO several times in the past and this property’s owner/manager were by far the most responsive. The cottage had plenty of space for our family of 4 and our dog. It was a perfect little get away with lots of kayaking & swimming during the day and making s’mores at the fire pit at night. Highly recommend if you are looking to relax by the lake!

Beautiful Spot!
Beautiful lakehouse! For us this was just a couples getaway but there is room to sleep more. The view above and below is right out onto the lake, step out of the upper floor to sit on the deck, or step out of the lower floor to sit below and enjoy the view and/or the hot tub. Nice quiet setting. Take the boats out or float around on the detacheable dock, both of which we did. Inside everything is great - but just bring the food you need there isn't much there.

Feels Remote, Close to Everything
Exceptionally clean home literally on the lake w 2 decks to enjoy beautiful views and access to the lake. There is a hot tub right on the lake and Kayak available. We rented here because it is 8 mins to Foxwoods where we were attending a show, but ended up making most of our trips to downtown Mystic, 15 mins away. Great host, responsive and easy to communicate with.

Comfortable cottage
We enjoyed our stay very much! Pleasantly decorated and comfortable home. The views are fantastic and there were two large decks to enjoy it from. We slept on the lower level which was cozy. Nice shower and kitchen. Lots to do in the area. We spent evenings in Foxwoods which is 10 minutes away. Mystic had great shopping and plenty of restaurants and an incredible French bakery called Sift. We plan on coming back in the summer to enjoy the lake and nearby RI beaches.

Beautiful Winter Getaway
We were looking to try somewhere new to us, so glad we picked this place! The neighborhood is very quiet, and It was gorgeous on the lake- the views are stunning. The hot tub on the deck was so nice to be in during the winter! We liked that Foxwoods was about 10 minutes away and that Mystic was a short ride from the house.. the house is very comfortable and relaxing, lots of blankets and pillows. We loved it and plan to go back for a spring or summer visit! Thank you for being such a great host Bobby!

Great stay
The house is exactly what it looks like in the photos. The location is amazing away, from the city, but less than a 10min drive to foxwoods. I bet its even better in the summer with it being right on the lake. Definitely will go back!

Family adventure
My brother and I each rented cabins on Long Pond from Bobby, Molly, & Paola. We hosted our wives, kids, parents plus a few friends that popped in for afternoon visits. It was an incredible few days and we got lots of enjoyment from the cabins and the lake. We spent lots of time in Mystic and also Foxwoods also. The house managers are very good and accommodating, and the houses have plenty of stuff to make you feel at home. We will definitely be back!

Idyllic retreat
A peaceful cottage overlooking Long Pond with kayaks and a canoe. The pond was clear and warm, perfect for swimming off the 2 floats. Cottage is air conditioned and has a fully equipped kitchen. Near to Mystic, Stongington and Groton. Plenty of restaurants within 25 minute drive. A great find!

Great house with an amazing view!
The home was spotless. Beds were extremely comfortable. Views from the decks were amazing. Loved being able to kayak, canoe, and raft right off the back deck. It was extremely hot outside, but inside was cool and comfortable. Our favorite part might have been the swings on the lower deck.

Already looking forward to going back in the fall
Beautiful, serene location. All the amenities and comforts of home, and then some. My wife, mother and I and our dog thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Paola and Bobby were accommodating, courteous and friendly. This cottage situated right on the lake, was the perfect getaway for us. We’ve been to half a dozen or more places in New Hampshire and Maine, all of which were nice in their own way, but here we had everything we could have hoped for . Before we even got fully settled in my wife was planning our next trip here. I was tempted to not give a glowing review just to keep other people from finding out about this place. But that would be unfair.

Home Sweet Home
our staying was like been home, such a nice and cozy place... we have a fun and enjoy the lake even we were there on cold days.... owners were the best, had the privilege to have a nice and relaxing massage with a lake view, Paola the owner offers the service. Serene and beautiful
Paola and Bob were the most hospitable hosts I have experienced on vrbo. They were helpful and welcoming, but not intrusive. Their cottage was perfect for a serene and very comfortable solo retreat. Views were beautiful, beds were cozy, kitchen was well-stocked, and everything was nice and clean.

Gorgeous Location Beautiful Clean Comfortable Home
I enjoyed this property so much during my two weeks stay, it is such a beautiful house with spectacular views but it is also so comfortable and feels like a home away from home. I was so impressed by the cleanliness! The hosts were so helpful and truly care about providing a great stay to their guests. I liked how there was a thorough reference binder and notes everywhere how to work everything in addition to being able to reach the host anytime with questions or queries. I tried out both the upstairs and downstairs for sleeping and all of the beds and bedrooms were really comfortable. The downstairs is so awesome for hanging out with friends watching Netflix and other programs on the big TV and going out on the big dock right outside plus you could sleep down there on a nice bed and there’s all the big couches too. I actually put my work set up down there and worked remotely while I was there making it a workcation it was great super fast WiFi internet and quiet. The views from both decks are so beautiful the lake is just gorgeous I saw all sorts of wildlife and birds and a red fox. My dog had the best time here and speaking of that the hosts a really nice about that and provide extra sheets and towels for you to put on the couches and beds so that you don’t have to worry about your pet enjoying their stay too and keeping things clean. The sheets and towels were really nice and I did laundry there too it was excellent. It’s such a great location so close to Foxwoods yet you feel like you are far away at the lake from everything. I enjoyed cooking in the well-stocked kitchen with lots of pots, pans, etc. as well as ordering DoorDash GrubHub and all the usual delivery services. The bathroom was great enjoyed the abundant hot water and rain shower showerhead. The neighborhood itself was really nice I met a few of the neighbors. The owner himself came over to remove snow after a big storm and see if there was anything I needed I was so impressed. It’s a really relaxing private nice place to work or play or do both with a very attentive host. I stay at many rentals and this one is exceptional and a favorite now!

Because of health concerns, we couldn’t go, but friends did and loved it
Our friends comments: “I’d give them 5 (stars) on all fronts, very nice place. Instructions were easy, they had signs inside the house, too, they invited me to come say hi, place was clean and cozy! Quiet area and lake was beautiful of course!” Even though we couldn’t make it, we’re so happy that our friends could. Our son lives in Ledyard so my hope is we’ll stay there before he leaves the area. Soon.

BEAUTIFUL spot!
The location of this cottage can't be beat -- the views over the water are spectacular & the multiple decks and seating areas to take advantage of the views are comfy as can be. (I especially appreciated the cozy comforters provided to wrap yourself in on the deck in chilly weather!) It was a quick drive into Mystic to enjoy the seaport and the town. The only minor issue for us: the kitchen equipment was pretty sad. I would not want to be cooking for many people with the pots & pans provided, and the coffee maker was falling apart. Nonetheless, we had a great time and would come back in a heartbeat.

The view of the pond is spectacular. When we got there we just sat out on the dock for an hour. We couldn't pull ourselves away from the view. If you want a quiet and beautiful getaway this is a great place!

Perfection!
We absolutely loved our stay at the Ledyard Cottage. The view was stunning, home was clean, and the hosts were warm and welcoming. Everyone had a blast swimming, canoeing, and kayaking. We caught some fish in the nets (truth by told, kids were better at it than the adults). We loved the firepit and the swings. Close to Mystic which is a plus. Highly recommend!

Ladies weekend
While the view from the cottage is beautiful, we found the house to be very dated. Dishes and glasses were limited and there was no dishwasher. The lower level was very musty smelling, and you could hear the TV and any conversations going on in the lower lever, all the way up to the top level. Made it difficult to sleep on the top level. In saying this, the landlord was very nice to deal with.

Great stay
Although our visit was short, we were able to fully unwind and satisfy everyone's trip desires at this peaceful and fun filled spot. The lake is beautiful, clean and so quiet. Swimming was very enjoyable, and kayaking, pasdle boarding and rafting were great fun. Mystic provided a close by excursion. The owner was very friendly, and we had no problems.

Summer week on a lake
My family loved this place. We spent hours in the water, swimming across the lake and back,kayaking and camping,grilling on the deck playing board games on chilly evenings. Two evenings out of 5 we had rainbows over the lake as the sun see. Birds galore, peace and quiet but Mystic is just a few minutes away. The perfect place.

A wonderful house on a lovely pond. We very much enjoyed our stay. The house was well equipped with all the necessities and comforts- plenty of towels, blankets for curling up on the couch or by the fire outside, kitchen essentials and play things - games, kayaks, canoe! Simply a relaxing and joyful place! The hosts were very responsive - although we didn’t need much as they be provided all the information in advance! Thanks for a much needed relaxing vacation!

Beautiful lakefront escape
We had an amazing stay in this super clean and well appointed lakeside cottage. Bobby and Molly were attentive and accommodated us and our two cats fantastically. The location is incredibly quiet and peaceful and perfect for a week away from the city!
