The Gwarna Sky Hotel is a real gem - it’s located in the Old City so it’s a walking area but the hotel has parking via a spiral ramp that needs concentration! The area around the hotel has many remarkable architectural highlights plus a castle (currently a military teaching centre) and two cathedrals, several restaurants and lots of coffee shops. The hotel bedrooms and bathrooms are fine, there’s an excellent gym and the breakfast is free and very good indeed. Altogether an unexpectedly enjoyable stay, highly recommended.

Idiot at the desk
It didn't start off very well. I found the hotel OK, located on a corner and spotted the parking garage. So I drove in and followed the sign for the hotel parking. After getting up a few decks, I found a parking spot and there was a big sign and entrance for the hotel. Well the door was locked. There was a key pad so I tried to press a few buttons. Nothing. Very frustrating! So a walk around the garage and find an exit. I went through the door and saw an elevator. It was out of order. So I ended up walking a few floors with my bags, etc to get outside and ended up around the corner from the hotel's main entrance. When I got to the door I had to bang on the door to get buzzed in. I told the guy at the check in what happened and he said, "you should have called! You need a code to enter any hotel door." I told him that he should have sent me an email with the code. He just gave me a grin and a stupid look. A real prize idiot. The fact that I was stranded in a dark garage with my heavy bags, trying to get out, didn't seem to him to have been a problem. They should have a camera in the car parking or at least a bell instead of having the customer in such a situation. The rest of the hotel was better except for the hotel bar which turned out to be a noisy disco. Would I stay there again? Not with fools like that working there!

Dejligt hotel. Venlig og hjælpsom personale. Gode senge/madrasser. Fin rengøring. Flot morgenmad buffet. Kaffen smager godt. Den sorte the er af dårlig kvalitet. Måttet benytte min egen medbragte the. Måske lidt dyr parkering, som gør at jeg nok fravælger næste gang.

En övergiven hotell.
En övergiven hotel, fruktansvärt värme i alla lokaler, frukosten ute i respektive temperatur i flera timmar. Man vågar inte äta mat som inte får förvaras i värme. I garaget var tropisk temperatur, men ingången till hotellet var inte självklart. Receptionen är på 1-a våningen trots att på allt info vid hissar står det våning 3. Livet var inte lätt särskilt om har MC kläder på sig. Jag kommer aldrig mer hit trots att mina tidigare erfarenheter om hotellet var motsatsen (har övernattat hör 3 ggr tidigare i samband med MC resor)

Super Hotel mitten im Stadtzentrum. Auf dem Dach gab es eine BEachbar mit weißem Vogelsand. Pool war klasse, aber nicht wirklich warm. Ich würde immer wieder hier buchen. Wir waren rundum zufrieden

Minimalist hotel
Our one night stay was part of a longer journey and we required one night’s accommodation. We decided to stay at Hotel Gwarna. For a one night stay this was suitable. We wouldn’t want to stay any longer. The hotel is somewhat dated and can be a little confusing, reception on 4th floor while rooms on levels 4,3,2 etc. We did find the configuration of the hotel unusual. The rooms are big in spacious, a positive and bed comfortable. I am not sure how the hotel is rated 4 stars though.

Bardzo fajny hotel w centrum miasta. Dobre jedzenie choć przez trzy dni nie zmieniano menu, takie czasy. Basen ze względu na pandemię dostępny dla danego pokoju, pływacie przez godzinę sami. Ładne widoki z tarasu i plaży na dachu.

First room we were provided smelt horribly of sweage. Secomd room was ok but uncomfortable beds made it difficult to sleep. Having toured europe many times , one please suprise was the staff were exceptionally friendly and accomodating.

Nur 1 Whirlpool im gesamten Hotel!
Hallo, ich bin leider sehr enttäuscht von dem Hotel Gwarna! 1.) Zimmer mit Whirlpool gebucht-nicht mal eine Badewanne hatte unseres. Auf Anfrage hin hatten Sie nur im Gesamten Hotel ein Zimmer mit diesen Angaben, obwohl man auf den Fotos mehre Zimmer mit Whirlpool gesehen hat. 2.) Wir wurde am Samstag (Anreise) drauf hingewiesen, dass das Frühstück von 7 -11 Uhr ist. Leider mussten wir dann feststellen das die Zeit Montag-Samstag von 7-10 Uhr nur ist! Wo wir natürlich gerade so noch was vom Frühstück abbekommen haben, da schon fast alles abgeräumt wurde. 3.) Sehr unfreundlichen Damen an der Rezeption. 4.) Da in der Web Seite die Dachterrasse unglaublich angepriesen wurde, wollten wir diese natürlich auch genießen. Fehler ist nur dann, das die Session vorbei ist und man nur zu der Frühstückzeit hochgehen kann. Wir hatten ja nicht erwartet dass man dort oben noch Personal vorfindet oder Drinks oder ähnliches Bestellen kann. Wir wollten einfach auch nach dem Abendbrot noch paar Stunden auf dieser genieße, was auch nach Anfrage an die Rezeptions Dame nicht möglich gewesen ist. 5.) Viel zu wenig Aufhang möglichkeiten, um Handtücher, Bademäntel oder ähnliches aufzuhängen- Der Handtuchhalter war zwar im Zimmer aber lag nur lose auf der Badablage rum. 6.) Meine Freundin hat leider Ihr Ladekabel von Ihrem Handy vergessen. Daher benötigten wir eins zum ausleihen, zum kaufen oder nur die Info wo man sowas in Legnica erwerben kann. Selbst da konnte uns keiner Helfen.
