Nicely located to Lenox. Friendly greeting and very pleasant overreview of property. I was Upgraded to King room with no charge as hotel wasn't full. Large spacious period decor, with large soaking tub in generous barhriom. Sound travels through hallways, guest rooms and rooms above, as bedroom has areas rugs on hard wood floors. If you are a light sleeper, ask for top floor.

We enjoyed staying at the Whitlock. There are not a lot of bells and whistles, just an elegant, traditional inn, within the village of Lenox. It's very walkable, quiet, and charming.

Great location and quaint hotel. My rooom was comfortable and I liked the bed but the hotel which is very old and adds to the allure, definitely needs some TLC particularly regarding windows and doors. I had access to a balcony which needs to be updated. Nice to have breakfast items but I would have liked some fresh fruit.

Great location, the water in the shower was near scalding(room 105). At night 8pm the front door was locked and the code didn’t open the door initially. Had to try and handful of times. There was loud slamming of doors outside our room.

Pleasant Stay
This was a pleasant experience and the staff was very welcoming and friendly. I only found a few gripes. The bathroom was tight and the hot water took a while to arrive. I was also less than enthused by the breakfast, which was lacking relative to other locations we have stayed in Massachusetts that were less expensive. That being said, where this establishment’s worth lies is in its style and proximity to establishments nearby. Likewise, I cannot stress how welcoming and kindly the reception to the Constance was to us, as well as how quickly they saw us in ahead of check-in time. Overall, a pleasant experience on the whole.

This is the most precious B&B! It is perfect for our girls fall foliage road trip! The staff were so friendly and welcoming! This place runs like a well oiled machine, with the comfort of home! Could not love it more!

The Constance is a great place to stay.
The Constance was a part of our final phase of a 900 road trip. The hotel has a rustic charm that reflects the heyday of Lenox 100 years ago. Our room was on the 3rd floor so getting upstairs tests you physical fitness. The room was era authentic and the bathroom, although small was updated. Jeff, the afternoon receptionist was very helpful in pointing out great eateries and other interesting places. The continental breakfast was convenient and Logan, the breakfast coordinator was really great.

Charming, clean, quaint and perfect location
We enjoyed our stay. Charming, quaint, comfortable room, lovely staff and perfect location. Just be prepared that although this is an inn, it’s like being in an old house; and when the upstairs guest wheels their luggage around, you hear noises!

We were so pleased with our stay at The Constance. Beautiful historic Inn, loved the front porch and the beautiful grounds. Our room was perfect , we have found on our new spot to stay near tanglewood, only 1.5 miles away.

Loved the great location and front porch. Continental breakfast was lacking and disappointing; halved, wrapped muffins (2), straight out of fridge. More appropriate for a chain motel than a B&B.

We spent two days here and were delighted with the inn-like quality of this hotel. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was modern and well-equipped, the breakfast was ample and the porch was comfortable and pleasant. The staff were gracious and helpful, although the young lady who checked us in could use a little training in welcoming guests - she wasn't curt, just officious. The location could not have been more central ( a walk to Tanglewood is only 1.3 miles). One suggestion is that the rooms seem to be painted in what the designers must have thought were muted colors but the green of the rooms comes off as unattractive bilious-army-barracks. Bottom line: we would stay here again.
