Calidad media en general
Habia gente tomando a media noche me cambiaron de habitacion y me subieron 10 $ mas. Como sugerencia deberian de pintar el hostal y estar mas pendientes de los huespedes

Las instalaciones son buenas, pero está muy sucio
No pude dormir ya que la habitación es la que da a la calle y las ventanas no se pueden cerrar, es una calle muy transitada, demasiada luz y ruido, el hotel muy sucio, el personal muy amable, les falta limpieza en todo sobre todo en las camas

Hotel muy céntrico, pero con aspecto de básico.
La atención del personal es excelente, pero el edificio cuenta con aspectos que de mejorarse darían mayor confort. La ubicación es excelente; a una cuadra de la catedral de Lima. La atención del desayunador más que buena. Es seguro llegar al hotel, desde el centro.

No apto para alergicos en este momento
El personal es muy amable, te ayudan a ubicarte en la zona, conseguir taxi seguro. Esta muy cercano a Plaza de Armas y hay muchos restaurantes cercanos de diversos precios. Pero en este momento están haciendo reparaciones, pintando algunas habitaciones y hay mucho polvo en todo lado. Parece que no limpian mientras se repara. Es como dormir en una construcción. Tuve que tomar antialergicos para soportar el polvo y olor de pintura.

Ce nest pas un hôtel, c'est un Hospedaje, très bien placé pour la plazza mayor, c'est propre mais il manque un bon coup de peinture, le personnel est très gentil.

Not much good except price and breakfast
it is a warn out property fairly priced. No A/C. The room never cooled. Fans made sleep possible. A good breakfast and a good staff. You will not hanf out in your room - too uncomfortable.

Det var ett prisvärt hostel i centrala Lima. Väldigt hjälpsam personal som var förvånansvärt bra på engelska. Klart värt ett par nätter om du skall uppleva gamla Lima.

Near Government Palace in Lima
I booked a room with a shared bathroom because I wasn't certain I was going to be able to occupy the room. It was very reasonably priced. The room is in a very old house which has been made in a hotel (of sorts). The room smelled because the only window was high and adjoined a foyer which was enclosed. Fresh air was in short supply! The bedroom walls were very dirty; someone had put dirty feet on them. It wouldn't have taken a lot of effort to clean off the dirty marks. No one bothered. The bathroom was okay and had hot water for showering.

Great guesthouse near the main square
We stayed at Santa Rosa for 1 night. Our room was very spacious, clean and cozy with tons of natural light and a lovely view of a main street. The private bathroom was clean. The bed and pillows were wonderfully comfortable (a rarity in Peru as our 3 other guesthouses had terribly hard beds and bad pillows). The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was great for exploring all the interesting spots in Lima, and just one block from the main square. This came with a drawback, though, as the street Santa Rosa is on is VERY noisy well into the evening, especially on weekends. Our room overlooked this street and was very noisy even with all the windows closed. Luckily by 11pm things quieted down considerably. Overall, I'd definitely recommend Santa Rosa, but make sure to pack earplugs.

Au coeur du Lima historique.
Situé dans un ancien immeuble Art Déco qui n'a pas été rénové, la pension vaut surtout par son emplacement dans l'immédiate proximité de la Plaza des Armas et des principales curiosités baroques du Lima ancien. Les chambres sont vétustes et pourraient faire l'objet de quelques aménagements. Bon petit déjeuner et personnel très serviable. Une bonne adresse si l'on n'est pas trop exigeant sur le confort.

Perfect location in the historic part of Lima!
We slept 2 nights at Hospedaje Santa Rosa. It's the best breakfast we had after 3 weeks in Peru and Bolivia. The building is very beautiful and location is perfect. All in all a really nice stay.

Idéalement situé avec un super service !
L'Hôtel Santa Rosa propose un excellent rapport qualité / prix et le personnel est vraiment attentif et agréable. A 50 mètres de la place des Armes, il se situe dans un quartier agréable et sécurisé ce qui en fait un point de chute idéal à LIMA. Un grand merci à l'équipe de l'Hotel qui nous ont conseillé et partagé leur culture !

Simple room
Very near to the palace and center. Great restaurant around the corner. Bare minimum amenities, bed and shared bathrooms. Decent rate. Not a late night spot for partying.

Trés agréable santa maria
À lima pour 3 jours, nous étions à proximité de tout ce qu'il y avait à voir en plein coeur de la ville trés vivant et pas du tout malfamé comme on laisse le croire pour privilégié le quartier de miraflores à ce centre bien plus peruvien à notre gout

Low price but very basic room, old and noisy
Only good for one short night during transit in Lima. The only good thing: they could arrange taxis in and out from the airport to the hotel.

Good staff
Hotel is in prime location. Condition of rooms are terrible. But staff is great. I came at 7 am , and they make me room available in half an hour, during my wait they gave me complimentary breakfast. Next day I was leaving around 7am, but they open kitchen earlier so I would have my breakfast before I leave. Call taxi, made a good deal for as cost.

All of the staff was nice and helpful. I was really glad I knew some Spanish or I might have had a different opinion of the staff’s helpfulness. Breakfast was really tasty and fresh. The room for breakfast was very small but since the food was prepared for each person it was the right size for the person cooking to be able to take care. Our room had a private bathroom and three beds. The floors were in very rough shape and you needed to wear shoes. The place was very simple. Its location was perfect for us we wanted to be right in the heart of the historic district of Lima and it was. This is a place you don’t want to be out after dark at. The front door of the hotel was kept locked and there was someone at the front desk 24/7 reasonable security for the location. I must say I was glad we were only there for 2 nights.

Highly recommended for location in central Lima
Pros - -location, location, location, for exploring central Lima this is great, only one block from the Plaza de Armas, Cathedral de Lima, Governors Palace, museums, restaurants, etc. - staff spoke English and was extremely helpful - cool view from the rooftop patio - family room was spacious and comfortable Cons - - rooms overlooking the lobby are loud, and some have shared bathrooms - there was some sketchy activity going on around the hostel - far away from Miraflores and typical tourist areas - the towels and toilet paper were low quality Overall a great low cost option if you want to stay in central Lima. We moved from a hotel in Miraflores that was twice as expensive and much preferred this hostel and location. It isn't fancy but great for the price and location.
