Good location, near subway, supermarket and restaurants. breakfast service was good. However cleaning was not to the standards expected. Concierge was really nice and helpful.

The A/C was not working so the rooms were hot as hell (it's the end of October) and the only solution provided was to change rooms every night to see if the new room was fresher. There are only 2 lifts for the entire hotel and 1 was not working so every time we wanted to get in or out we had to wait at least 20 minutes for an available lift. The entire restaurant area and food facility is extremely small so every day we had to have breakfast at the bar and you have to make long lines to be able to serve yourself plus they were running out of dishes and food all the time and they were not able to keep up with the amount of guests and food requiered. We stayed for 3 nights and every day it was just getting worse. Also the rooms are in very poor condition, the chairs are damaged the towels are old, etc and as said before I changed room every day so I got to see 3 different rooms and all of them were in the same state.

Pesimo hotel!! Despues de reservar, enviaron una carta donde decia Que no tendrian aire acondicionado porque estaban arreglándolo, y en su lugar pondrían aire acondicionado portatil en cada cuarto, mencionando que haría ruido. Al recibir esta carta solicite la cancelacion 3 VECES y nunca recibi respuesta!! Al llegar al hotel estaba super sucio, eL clima portatil hacia demasiado ruido y NO enfriaba, ademas de que teniamos que dejar una ventaba abierta para que saliera el ducto, y por ahi entraban demasiados insectos. Una experiencia terrible! El internet NO llega a los cuartos, jamas pudimos conectarnos al wifi y lo peor de todo: tuve una emergencia medica en la madrugada y necesitaba una ambulancia, mi esposo y hija bajaron a recepcioN pudiendo urgente que nos ayudaran a pedir una ambulancia, ya que estaba a punto de desmayarme, y ellos solo le dijeron, hablen ustedes y nos dieron un numero. Pidieron tambien ayuda para llamar un medico y su respuesta fue la misma. JAMAS nos ayudaron o se interesaron en saber que podian hacer. NADA RECOMENDABLE!!! Es un hotel caro, viejo, sucio al que no le importan los huespedes

Me gusta mucho este hotel. Lo conocí en verano con su playa urbana y me encantó. He vuelto a repetir en septiembre y he vuelto a sentirme muy cómoda. Genial ubicado. Cerca del Imperial Colleague donde estudia mi hija y junto al metro Gloucester road, línea directa al aeropuerto y al centro. Estuve alojada una semana. Volveré.

We stayed in room 428 and next to us was a private store room. We were rudely waken up at 6am by staff taking something and being very noisy. It sounded like the cleaning trolleys for staff to clean rooms. We could not get back to sleep and I must say it ruined our stay. We came to London to see a show and ended up not getting much sleep. I mentioned it to the receptionist when checking out Saturday morning she was not helpful at all. Her response was speak to Expedia, who we made the booking with.

Wonderful
Love the stay here, the room was clean and well kept. Service staff were very friendly and fast to respond. The hotel location is also great, near Gloucester tube station, museums and some food options around. I would come back. Wonderful stay.

To be honest I saw the reviews before I book I felt not comfortable however , I boooked three nights and the hotel was amazing the bed and the air conditioning and even the staff and especially (Zain ) . The location of the hotel is perfect and a lot of restaurants around it . In the end PERFECT !

My family and I stayed at Doubletree London Kensington from Jan 2 to Jan 5 2024. The overall experience was AMAZING! The hotel is very conveniently located, in a ver posh areas, surrounded by Embassies and nice Victorian buildings. It is close to the Museum mile. The continental Breakfast is delicious, especially the scrambled eggs and hash browns. Rooms are ok, nothing special (they should include a fridge).The service is very friendly and do their best to meet your needs, especially WAJIA and ZAIN. We are so grateful to them!We definitely want to come back!

5min walknto the natural history museum. 10min walk to south kensington underground. A few nice restaurants dotted around and a waitrose opposite for any forgotten items or little treats. Other guests were exceptionally noisy but you cant escape that in a busy hotel. Breakfast was good, pancake machine a big hit with kids. Checked in at 4 and it was chaotic with so many othwr guests also checking in and it seemed like many rooms were not ready. Our room was and it was exactly what was advertised and booked. Clean and perfect for a one night stop.

Kan varmt rekommendera detta hotell
Perfekt boende för familjen. Läget vid Gloucester Road är fantastiskt och hotellet med dess rymliga rum, trevliga personal och fina service uppskattades verkligen. Vi kommer gärna tillbaka!

Not good
They were not accommodating with respect to the shorter stay (I had to check out a few days earlier). They would also not change my check in and chk out dates despite having a travel issue where we could not make to to town on time. All this during Christmas. When we arrived our room had dirty towels. They changed the room but were not accommodating with anything else. I would not go back.
