Found the staff to be friendly and attentive , The room to be comfortable and clean.Shower pressure and temperature was constant. The included English breakfast filling. The Local Bus service is a 5 minute walk and will take you to High Barnet Tube Station. The only thing missing was an elevator (Lift) which may be a concern if you’re not able to climb the stairs.

Room was a little small when I booked a queen size and light in bathroom didn’t turn off. Was really a standard double room so should be asking for some refund as misold by Expedia

The breakfast was good
There was hair in the shower, and paint was falling off the walls in the bathroom. The door/wall was not well isolated, so you woke up every time a person walked outside, which was very annoying. But the included breakfast was brilliant, and the price is reasonable for being in London, so I'm still giving it four stars.

Nice couple of days stopover
It was a pleasant two days. The room was fairly small but clean and warm, bed comfortable, tea and coffee tray, smart TV, no lift. We were greeted well and shown to our room. Breakfast was good with a good choice of menu and was served by pleasant staff. Parking on site is limited to 3 vehicles but there is plenty of parking on the street close to the hotel. Didn’t use the bar or restaurant so can’t comment on that. Shower/ toilet on suit ok but like the whole hotel could do with an upgrade. Toiletries provided but towels had seen better days. Would come back again.

The main problem as elderly clients we would need to be on a lower floor as we were at top of the property and no lift on site. Otherwise the breakfast was a little limited although we'll cooked and presented. The receptionist was extremely efficient and hard working. Thoroughly good value.

Great all round experience from start to finish. Lovely room (room 3), incredibly amenable and accommodating staff and great food - we had breakfast and evening meals there. Great range of choices all round. Free parking, safe area, excellent additional food options walkable nearby. Highly recommended!

Very comfortable and lovely staff but…
No hesitation in recommending the Hadley. Lovely staff and very comfortable. My one observation is the check in times on Hotels website was incorrect. I arrived at 1pm, expecting check in was from midday to be told check in is after 2pm. They were great though and had my room ready in 15minutes. Check out on this website said 11am and the hotel says 10.30am. Just worth making sure in case you have plans about accurate times.

Since our last visit, the Hotel has added a restaurant / entertainment area called 'Karen's Diner' which blasts out loud music up to 10pm each night and a has a very loud PA system adding to the chronic noise disturbance, especially if your bedroom is above it. Would not stay again.

Great experience - Highly Recommended
I stayed at the Hadley Hotel for the weekend as I was getting a married. Everything about the establishment was perfect to the cleanliness of the rooms, to the service provide by the staff. The hotel is small but that was a good thing as the service had a very personal touch. To top things off we returned back to a complimentary bottle of champagne when after the ceremony. A big thank you the staff.

Disappointing Room
Staff very friendly, disappointing room, a bit shabby, walls were scratched, bathroom clean, but so tiny. Bed and pillows comfy. No kettle, had to ask reception, they went out and bought one! Nice breakfast, staff once again so friendly. Wasn't worth £165 I'm afraid.

We have stayed here a few times. The best room, just about met the basic standards, after it had been renovated. All the rest are disappointing. The latest room, at the top of the hotel, falls very short of any standard. The shower has black mould. The pillows had multiple staines from dribble and sweat on them (disgusting) and on the first night had no pillow cases, had to ask for some. The tv kept going off due to poor signal. The bed was not great, but I have had worse. The duvet was also dirty and lumpy. There were no shelves or surfaces to put anything down and the room was tiny. Downstairs in the bar/breakfast room, the floor was filthy, the bar was dusty, the brass foot bar looked like it had not been cleaned for ages and the tables were sticky from the night before. The floor was cleaned on the fourth day. The manager/possible owner, sat at the end of the bar during breakfast and did nothing but play on his phone. The breakfast was good and the staff were helpful and friendly. Karen’s diner is noisy until late, so much so that I could not make myself heard when at reception, to complain for the umpteenth time. We will not be revisiting, no matter how cheap!

After yesterday's debacle, we were woken at 6.50 am by the kitchen extractor outside our room being turned on, then the smells of cooked breakfast coming into our room at 7.30am. If we were vegans, this might be nauseous.
