El lugar es muy bonito, si hay que caminar un poco para llegar al centro de la ciudad pero creo que es parte de disfrutarse el lugar, y lo bonito es que todos los tours te recogen en el hostel, así que solo caminas a veces. Las camas muy cómodas y la ropa de cama y toallas súper, todo muy bien. El desayuno esta re bien y que tengan cafecito y té todo el tiempo es delicioso con ese frío. Las chicas de recepción te ayudan con los tours, muy amables.

Muy buen hotel, sobre todo en relacion a los precios de Svalbard. Esta retirado del centro, pero es porque es un pueblo pequeño, se llega perfectamente caminando Tiene un muy buen desyuno El personal y los demas huespedes son miy agradables

Es lo que anuncian, un hostal/albergue de montaña
Personal correcto, habitaciones con baño compartido, se duerme bien en la cama, dan toalla, las habitaciones tienen labavo. Temperatura agradable, asi como la decoración. Hay que andar descalzo, las botas a la entrada, silencioso. Lo mejor es que la gente tipo que viene a estos lugares y tipo de alojamiento son educados y respetuosos. Si vuelvo a sbalvard a ver las auroras boreales, repetiré hostas

Staff was very hospitable and the surroundings were serene. However the location is slightly far away from the town centre. Without any transport, at least 30 minutes of walk is needed to get to the town centre

Good short stay
4 night stay, there was 3 people in 4 people room, two bunk beds, wardrobes, sink. Very warm place, but its easy to open a window. Breakfast included. The hostel is about 25 min walking from a town centre. It's a good pick place for a trips. Taxi to the airport cost less than 200 NOK. The firls in the reception are very helpfull.

Absolut empfehlenswert für unkomplizierte Leute.
Wir sind restlos begeistert. Unter einem Gästehaus stellt man sich etwas eher mäßiges vor. Gerne überall 10 Punkte weil alles gestimmt hat. Wer das nicht so sieht, hat unter einem Einzelvorkommnis zu leiden oder ein gehobenes Hotel erwartet. Sehr freundliches und mit Kompetenzen ausgestattetes Personal über alle Dienstschichten hinweg. Angenehme Aufenthaltsräume und ausreichend und saubere Duschen und Toiletten. Einzig die Common-Kitchen ist vom Mobiliar her erneuerungswürdig aber vielleicht steht das ja auf dem Plan. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder ins Gjestehuset 102.

Great stay
Very friendly and helpful staff. Pretty good selection of food for breakfast. Bedroom and restrooms are clean. Thankful to have a common kitchen area to cook food. Very slippery road on the way up to the property when we got there because of snow/ice. Overall a very good stay.

Offensichtlich eine der bezahlbarsten Unterkünfte
Liebenswerte Frauen in der Unterkunft, auch nach nur 3 Tagen kennt man die wohl insgesamt 3 Busfahrer des Ortes. Bei der Katamaranfahrt zum Gletscher ist zwingend ein Teleobjektiv zu empfehlen - soweit vorhanden. Ausser der Anblick des Gletscherabbruchs ist Ihnen dieses viele Geld alleine wert. Wir haben von einem Wal, Robbe sowie Walross nur jeweils einen Punkt in der Ferne gesehen. Etwas wenig .......

Ideal place for a budget traveler
This place is ideal for budget travelers. It is a bit far from the city center, but still in walking distance. I stayed in a dormitory. The room was not big for 4 people, but it was fine. The staffs are really helpful and friendly! I will recommend you to stay there if you are planning to visit Svalbard.

Nice and kind stuff. Enough wc and showers. Cozy social room and dining room with christmas tree and relaxing music. Good breakfast. The kitchen upstairs wasnt enough clean.

Tolles Hostel! Wir kommen gerne wieder 😍
Genau so erwarte ich einen tollen Hostel Aufenthalt! Das Hostel hat eine Küche mit zwei Kühlschränken, dort geht abends der Punkt ab ;) Zwei "Wohnbereiche" mit Sofas und einen Frühstücksraum. Pro Stockwerk zwei Toiletten und zwei Badezimmer Wir hatten einen Zweier Raum, die Einzelbetten waren schon zusammen geschoben. Im Zimmer gab es ein Waschbecken, Spiegel, Schrank, einen Tisch mit Stuhl, Heizung und Vorhang der wirklich dunkel macht. Unsere Wäsche würde für 200Nok gewaschen, getrocknet und zusammengelegt Es war immer alles sauber zu jeder Tag und Nacht Zeit. Das Frühstück war lecker, es gab Wurst, Käse, verschiedene Marmelade, Eier, Waffeln,... Die Mitarbeiter war super nett und freundlich und halfen auch bei der Auswahl der Aktivitäten gerne weiter. Einziger Minuspunkt für mich: die Zeiten an der Rezeption wurden so gar nicht eingehalten, das fand ich ein bisschen schade. Eine "Notfall" Nummer stand zwar angeschrieben, aber da würde man jetzt nicht anrufen, wenn man nur wissen möchte wann der Bus fährt 🙈 PS: bringt Schlappen mit! Am Eingang werden die Schuhe ausgezogen 😉
