An old hotel in the centre of town. Rooms need a radical makeover, and the car park is far too small.
My room was in the annexe block which had a coded lock on the outer door, when shown to my room the door was locked but the bar person had no idea what the code was. He went back in and then appeared from the inside having somehow got through via the interior of the hotel. He left the door unlocked, but when I went into the bar to get a coffee, I returned to find it locked again. Back into the bar to find how I get to my room, asked the guy for the code, who said he doesn't know it. He did go and ask someone else though and gave it to me.
The room was at best shabby, the waste bin had not been emptied from the previous guest, the grouting in the bathroom was black, and the radiator in the room was only luke warm.
Didn't eat dinner in the restaurant as the menu was not very exciting, but had breakfast in the morning. As it was included in the room cost so didn't expect much, but it did have a small selection of cereal and toast.
As I said it was cheap, so if you have very low standards it would probably suit you. I was only there for one night, but had I been there any longer I would have checked out and stayed somewhere else.
