This is a really nice hotel in a great city centre location for seeing central Manama. Staff are excellent, very attentive, and nothing is too much trouble. We received a complimentary room upgrade and a late check out without having to ask, which was a nice touch. Parking is valet and it only takes 5-10 minutes for the staff to retrieve the vehicle. Room decor is really nice, the rooms are a good size, and the facilities are excellent, and there is even a $1,000 bean to cup Jura coffee maker in every room that makes excellent coffee. Expect normal city centre noises though. It's not a remote location.
The restaurant here is very good. It is a rooftop garden setting, again with interesting boutique decor. Due to Covid we were given the choice of 2 options each for breakfast from the a la carte menu, which was more than enough. We also ate dinner here on the launch date of their new seafood menu. Both the bouillabaisse and the sea bream were excellent, as were the ssamyang rib and halloumi and beetroot salad starters. The only downside to the restaurant was that certain wines were not available and there was no draught beer at the time of our stay, but this was a minor inconvenience.
Overall, this is a great hotel with good quality rooms, fantastic staff and great food.
