I am so sorry that the room type reserved was less than what you expected. All lakeside rooms have a view of the lake but you are correct, some offer a much better view than others. The higher the floor, the better the view of the lake. Next time please call the hotel prior to arrival and we will try to get you on a higher floor. Thanks and hope to see you soon.

While not all rooms offer a view, we do have a variety rooms that face the lake and many rooms that have new patios or a balcony. The hotel also has a new terrace built off of the breakfast area that offers a beautiful view with seating and televisions, and the pool and hot tub area offer a view of Lake Marble Falls as well. The location of the hotel makes it a unique destination for many looking to shop or dine on historic main street just a few blocks away as well as having 2 dining establishments located next door within walking distance. The area can be quite busy, especially during special events and weekends. While your room did not have a view of Lake Marble Falls, we do offer an assortment of rooms that face the lake and many rooms that have new patios or a balcony. I am very sorry that the shower backed up and was not very clean. Thank you for letting us know so that we can notify maintenance and make sure housekeeping is aware of the cleanliness issue. I do apologize that other guests were loud. We try to let everyone know that 10pm is universal quiet hour but sometimes that can be more difficult when the hotel is sold out and we have a mixture of wedding guests, sports teams, and families on vacation. We appreciate all comments, good or bad, and use them to improve our product and service. I am pleased that you enjoyed your stay but apologize that the pillows were not up to your comfort level. A complete make over of bedding is planned during the renovation process but not sure what the owners have in mind for replacement. Phase 1 has been completed with a new roof line, pillars in front of hotel, a courtyard for some of the 1st floor rooms in addition to patios and decks. We also have 2 rooms on the 2nd floor that offer balconies. Renovations to all guest rooms and the lobby will take place during the 2nd Phase which includes upgrading our breakfast. A small, intimate lounge is planned for those that like to have an adult beverage in the evening. We hope you will return in the future and experience our newly renovated " boutique" hotel.
