“The lodge has a lovely aspect, with uninterrupted views over the lake, it is extremely well equipped catering for all your needs. Unfortunately the information folder was missing so we had to contact the owner to get the WiFi code. The owner’s put in an awful lot of effort into the presentation of the lodge and even decorating it for Easter, much appreciated. “The pictures don't do it justice, the house is absolutely beautiful and so spacious. Ideal location. The hosts thought of EVERYTHING, the house is so well equipped and has literally everything you could possibly need. Hosts were fabulous and so responsive and even included a welcome basket with wine, treats and bread and milk. We couldn't believe how cheap it was for the location, amenities and house in general. We will 100% be back”

“Lovely small property for 2 people. An oasis in the midst of the Lincolnshire countryside which, it has to be said, is quite featureless. (To be fair, we went late October. “This is a lovely property. Nice and clean, well equipped and in beautiful grounds with lakes and wildlife. We enjoyed feeding the geese - and were allowed to see some baby chicks that had just hatched. Barbara was on hand to help with anything we needed, and had provided a leaflet with local things to do and takeaways that delivered to site. Excellent stay, we will no doubt be booking again.”

“We had a wonderful time. Very comfortable bed, lovely kitchen and shower room. Wonderfully clean. The meadow garden was lovely, overlooking fields. Outside is a gazebo, two large 6-person picnic benches, outside table & chairs and a sturdy bench. The Wifi was fast and reliable, making streaming Netflix on the large Smart TV effortless. The visitor book in full of wonderful praise for Sarah (the owner) and the cottage - and justifiable so too. Loved it!”

“Apartment was amazing! Really spacious and very grand! Why sray in a small hotel room when you can stay somewhere like this. Owner really nice and very helpful too. City centre c30 minute walk, which is where the main restaurants are too, although we really enjoyed spending an evening in tge apartment and having a take away delivered via Deliveroo!”

“A lovely stay in a cute old stable. Lovely provision of cereal, bread, butter, milk and coffee (including some for the cafetière for those like me who don’t drink instant). The fridge has a small freezer at the top which is great. The living room is double height and very comfy with underfloor heating, the bedroom is upstairs on the mezzanine. The owners have really thought about the things you need when staying away in self-catered accommodation and it shows! 10/10”
