Lots to improve, but inexpensive.
Room was small, there was a hole in the wall. Wires exposed for the TV, the tub faucet leaked all night, the soap bar was small and crumbled when used and finally the towels barely covered the body.

Good value stay
The room was pretty clean, microwave and fridge were kind of not clean. Was overall a good experience for value. Friendly staff. Pet friendly hotel, we stayed with our pet. Quiet guests.

Not bad for short stay and price
Customer service was great. Front desk person greeted me and got me checked in ASAP. Only downside of the stay was the following, Outlet in bathroom did not work so I couldn’t plug in my curling iron to do my hair. I had to take it to the nearest area with a working outlet and use my reflection on the microwave as a mirror

The hotel provided the bare minimum of supplies. Small towels, no soap, no shampoo, no conditioner. I guess at such a low price, you really DO get what you pay for.

No frills, older and funky smells
We were in town for day 5 of the RAGBRAI. The staff were very kind to let us check in early. The room was truly nothing fancy. Hallway floors needed vacuuming and overall smells were weird. Shower had good pressure and the area around the hotel was quiet.

I wanted to add on an additional night to our stay but they wouldn't take a credit card. They said it needed to be paid in cash. The front desk person couldn't speak English either.

Property is old and worn down. There was a language Barrier with one staff and the other I don’t think knew her job any better. I had paid on line, but they insisted that it wasn’t Even though there is an original receipt. They insisted on collecting $119 in cash because they said my card was declined. The number they quoted on the credit card was not mine and they said I couldn’t get a copy of the paperwork until the next day when their manager came in. Out almost $200 for an unsafe, dirty room. I won’t be back and everyone I know will be told of this incident. If not taken care of I will call the police. I asked if there was a video camera on the front desk because that would show them collecting $120 from me and the man giving me $1 back. I also went through Expedia, I won’t make that mistake again.

Credit card machine didn’t work. Has to post with cash. Had no coins to give back change, the whole 2nd floor reeked of drugs. People in one of the rooms was very loud, rooms were simple, mostly clean, but comfortable. The room we stayed in was painted in orange which was almost too much

I liked the room set up. Bed was comfortable and so were the pillows. Refrigerator worked well. Plenty towels and wash clothes. What I didn't like was the bathroom: faucet was barely attached, bad patch job to the side of the tub, the vent was not in the ceiling and a board that was to small was in its place. My air-conditioner barely kept the room cool on high fan on the coolest setting. The outside grounds needed better upkeep.
