Hi, and thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I'm sorry the cabin that you stayed in did not meet your expectations as it is very popular with our guests and accurately described on the third party website that you booked through. Describing it as a "tin shed" is very misleading. Our two room cabins are soundly constructed, double glazed, fully insulated and the only "tin" is the corrugated iron roof. All our cabins have hotel quality beds and linen provided. I am sorry you also did not appreciate our landscaped grounds and holiday park facilities. Last minute accommodation in the Wairarapa on sunny weekends with multiple events (fishing competition, drag races, garden tour) can be expensive. I would recommend you book ahead and maybe consider our two bedroom apartment in future, as this may be more to your liking. I am pleased to hear that you enjoy the TOP 10 experience and I hope this stay will not put you off staying in TOP 10 Holiday Parks in the future.

Hi, I'm sorry you're expectations weren't met. All of our rooms which share our holiday park shower and toilet facilities are described on Hotels.com as "with shared bathroom". We also send an email to all bookings through online travel agents confirming the type of room booked and the shared bathroom facilities. We don't have any control over how hotels.com represent our rooms - if you feel the description is misleading I would appreciate it if you could direct this feedback to hotels.com so that they can remedy the situation. I am also trying to get in touch with them to find out what has gone wrong. We do have fully self contained studios and a 2 bedroom apartment which would have been perfect for you. Hi, we have been very careful with our room descriptions and we send all online third party bookings, including those from hotels.com, an e-mail which clearly states if the room booked is not self-contained and shares the communal holiday park facilities. Our rates for our non self-contained cabins reflect that they do not have ensuites. I'm sorry that there seems to have been a miscommunication somewhere in the booking process, it would be great if you could send us your hotels.com booking confirmation so that we can figure out what went wrong.
