The first day I stayed in this hotel, I had to ask the desk clerk if there was any way to change me to a room where I could find more quietness, I could hear people talk, a lot of cars and trucks and airplanes but the noise was amplified and I am not sure if it was the time of the year I went to visit (December) but it was VERY noisy. After being changed to one of the higher rooms, I experienced less noise but I could still hear the cars not as much as on the third floor though. I LOVE my peace and quietness so I would suggest that If you go on a month like December when there are parties left and right, I would consider another hotel on another location or maybe requesting the rooms at the top of the building. You will start hearing traffic noise from 6am till around 7-8pm and on December 7-8th.. forget it, they will be throwing parties bc of the little candles day, there will be no sleep. I gave this hotel a 4 star just bc of the noise issue, which is part their fault for not installing some sort of sound proof walls, everything else was great, such as the bed comfiness, the cleanliness, the desk clerks are super nice as well, there's a little convenience market right in front of the hotel (called la vaquita), theres also a little restaurant/store called el buñuelo right next to it and I also loved that there was the little kitchen in the room with the fridge and the washer/dried available on the second floor for around 15mil pesos, super affordable and easy to use.
