Lobby, hallway, and especially the room were in bad state of repair. Actually someone had attempted a refurbishing of the room and failed miserably. Bathroom door frame falling off, new flooring cut in badly with large gaps all around, window curtains falling off and couldn’t be closed, loose wires where the smoke detector was supped to be (yes it was missing), vanity mirror was hung so high my wife had to stand on tiptoes just to see her face. I could go on and on. We were booked for 2 nights but left after the first night and they still billed me for 2 nights, still working on that one.

Front desk receptionist asked for an additional $150 cash (no card) upon arrival. This is not in the policy and was not mentioned when I called prior to coming to ask the same receptionist about the room. I’m not sure if they are discriminating or asking certain people but this was told to us and a couple of people that were checking in ahead of us.

Thank you for your feedback, Telisha. Unfortunately, we had to put in place our deposit policy due to guests destroying our rooms and smoking in our rooms. With them using cards that can be locked, we require the deposit to be in cash. This is a policy put in place for everyone. The front desk should have explained this ahead of time, and we will use your feedback as a teaching experience.

The hotel was clean, older property needs renovated. Not soundproof could hear construction taking place outside. Fair price for what is offered. Nice demographic area.

The staff was the best part of this hotel. It was great for the price and I would stay here again if I come back to the Memphis area.

The owners updated the main room floor. The bathroom shower floor had rust on the floor and a wring was in the tub. The caulking was dirty in the bathroom. The window curtains were dirty and the mattress was not comfortable seemed old and worn. The pool walls needs to be cleaned makes the water look murky. The breakfast food was ok served biscuits that were hard as rocks and the gravy looked burnt. Food appeared to be reused for several days.

I didn’t like my room the shower curtain and tub was dirty the refrigerator didn’t work and the price I paid for the room was to much I would not ever stay there again. I really want to be refunded because of the bathroom. One thing I did like though is the bed it was very comfortable

Room door was hanging off the henges. Literally had to lift the door to close and open it. There was dead bugs in the bathroom and in between the curtains. The sheets had holes in it.

Did not clean room when we asked… Smelled bad…. Could not give us receipt when we checked out said computer was down… Had a curtain for a comforter and when I asked for blanket they gave me a rough blanket with cigarette burns in it… Construction all around hotel on the roads… When asked if we could have a cart to bring bags down was told … don’t know where they are you will have to search the floors to find one, I checked all 3 floors could not find one so had to make 3 trips from 3rd floor to bring mine and my elderly mothers things down….,

I had been a bit concerned by the online ratings so my wife and I found this place a pleasant surprise on the upside. Very nice staff, super easy check-in without a hitch, good value for money. Fresh-baked yummy cookies at check-in. Having a corner room at the end of the hall made things pretty quiet. The bathroom and amenities (fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, ironing board and iron were all excellent. I think others might find the room a bit on the small side, but we felt it was fine. The size meant no closet, just hangar rack (which was fine for an overnight stay). The A/C - heater unit super-cooled the room, but it warmed quickly.

Absolutely disgusting. There was mold in the shower. My sheets were dirty. Staff is unhelpful, they don’t clean the rooms on the weekends? The floors in my room were sticky. We stayed in a room on the 2nd floor, the floor is caving in. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

The property looked nothing like the pictures, it was noisy all night long since the room isn't soundproof and a baby was one the same floor crying the entire time. There were bugs crawling out the bathtub and it was dirty with hair and other debris. Someone attempted to come into the room before checkout time, but luckily the door stopper prevented them from coming in. This place needs updated and I will definitely not stay here again.

Floor in room was sticky and dirty, unmopped. Curtains were off the rod in 2 areas, mold in bath tub and bathroom vent. Water pressure deviated during shower. Wash sink, faucet leaked out onto vanity when turned on, and between bed and wall, the electric outlet was raw, with no safe cover. I took pictures if you would like to see them. The staff was friendly, the downstairs spotless and the breakfast was great.

I registered and paid for one more night of a 3 night stay. Housekeeping knocked on the door at check out time of my first stay informing me that it was check out time and I needed to leave. I got it worked out with management but it was very disturbing.

The floor in the room was extra dirty, the sink was dirty and there was hair everywhere. The handles inside the shower for the elderly or disabled were loose at one end and rusty.

Great value
The hotel was great for the price. No frills breakfast was what I expected for the price. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would stay there again.

Do Not Stay Here!
We did not have a good experience. The front desk attendant was lazy. When i came down to ask for an extra blanket because there were only sheets on the bed, he had an attitude and went to grab me a unfolded blanket that didn’t even seem clean. I was insulted. The shower had a used bar of soap in it from the previous occupant. There were no towels in the bathroom- when I went to ask the front desk worker he told me to go to the laundry room (an employee only space) & get them from the worker back there rather than going to get them for me. Ridiculous! Pool was closed because they were painting it. Breakfast was cheap & minimal- just a few slices of white bread & white bagels. Very disappointed in the stay - trying to get a refund for the inconvenience.
