`Television would not turn off. `Stains on bedspread, chair and bench (couch) `I had to purchase cleaning supplies and clean the room. `I had to purchase my own blankets, as the bedding was too disgusting to sleep on. I wrapped the pillow in my shirt. `Cigarette burns on bedspread (I requested a non-smoking-room) `Cigarette smoke permeated the walls and underneath the door `I was on the second floor but had requested handicapped access room. `Junk furniture and appliances, and many bags of garbage and loose garbage in the parking lot `There were people living in this motel, with their grills, fishing poles, lawn furniture, etc. outside the motel. `NOTHING was as it was represented on Expedia. `I have photos I'd love to share. `I'd like to request a full refund. `This was the WORST motel stay I've ever experienced.

It looked like the place had closed down.So we didn't even go in . If we had known it was opened I would not have stayed there anyways because it looked nasty . There were no cars there and it just looked like a place that was closed down. I was totally shocked how the place looked .

TV and ice machine didn’t work. Floors were filthy, bathroom had mold around the tub, chaulking falling out. NO coffee anywhere, no hairdryer in room. Door to front desk area locked in PM and AM. Phone went to ‘leave a message” Trash bins overflowing with garbage. Noisy all night and people fixing their car in front of my door when I tried to get in.

I don’t normally leave bad reviews, but this was probably one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. Our bed was broken, the bedding was not clean, it was stained. Pillows were terrible. The gentleman that showed us our rooms was nice. We were so tired, and couldn’t drive any more…. So we suffered the night and made do.

I didn’t even stay there. No one could check me in, they didn’t know how to run a computer. It was an older man there, but he’s the one that told me he didn’t know how to run a computer. Manger was not even there. I ended up staying at the Holiday Inn Express in Statesboro. I never got a response from the owner about a refund.

Key Cards not working - No Rooms
We reserved a room for the weekend for 3 people. When we got there, the parking lot had 5 cars in it. The woman at the front desk gave us our room key and we went to the room. The room key would not open the door, so we went back to the front desk to get it fixed. After 20 minutes of trying, the woman from the front desk couldn't get the key to work and her only option was refunding our money as she wouldn't get us another room. ALL rooms within an hour of this location were sold out so we were forced to drive 4 hours round trip each day to attend the events we had scheduled the hotel for. I also have not seen a refund to my account from this "stay" and have actually had additional charges posted as pending. Very disappointed and will never go to this area again.

Dead cockroaches in the room. AC not working. Bathroom shower spraying water everywhere. Shower curtain fixture broken. Bathtub disgusting. Stains on the mattress and other fixtures. No way I would stay there again.

Sign was ripped, no other cars in lot, no coffee, no blow dryer, shower filthy, toilet slow to flush, sheet had big grease or something spots, wash cloth had a big hole in it. That being said, the lady at the front desk was nice and the tv worked.

Sanitization practices was not up to Covid Pandemic policies per Motel6 procedures. I called Corporate and made a complaint. The Housekeeper was on her phone and threw the dirty linen on the ground and did the bc same for my room (all caught on camera). The housekeeper admits that she doesn’t wash the “top sheet/comforter” everyday unless there was a stain on it. I asked when was the last time mine was washed and she said “maybe” a few days ago. I asked her if she worked yesterday and she said “yes” and I asked if mine was washed yesterday and she said “no” stating “no one stayed in your room yesterday.” I was disgusted. So she was throwing dirty lines with no gloves on, on the ground and was not washing the comforters (top sheets) during this pandemic. I go to the woman at the front desk and she told me at first (all of this conversation is recorded) that they don’t clean the top sheet, the she says they “do” clean it every time. Then changed her story and said “they don’t have to clean it every time” and “I should know better that to use it as a comforter because it is ‘just for show’” and that “every hotel doesn’t clean their top sheet every day”and for me to read the sign that I “stay at the hotel at my own risk” then she said have a nice day I did my research and they are definitely out of compliance with CDC’s recommendations for hotel sanitation for COVID, Motel 6’s G6 Hospitality “Clean@6” for Novel Coronavirus Policy to “wash ALL LINEN”.

Looked ok from the outside. Checked in and they didnt double check to see we had already paid for 2 rooms and charged us again. Beds were terrible, bathrooms were gross with mildew. We did not use the shower and noticed water on the floor and reported it when we checked out told the front desk that their was water on the floor and she immediately said what did you do!? How rude!
