Always stay here
We always stay at the Berlin Encore when we go to Amish country for a getaway. It's very clean and well kept. Staff is very friendly.

The Encore was such a beautiful place. It is close to many shops. Check in was easy as was check out. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

not very clean. very dusty and soap from last guest left on shower floor. For the price, we would have expected top notch. No better than a standard hotel under 90.00

Mattress was horrible, there was no hot water at the sink, and the cleaning staff did not run vacuum during our stay.

Hi Carmel! We appreciate you taking the time to leave us this review. I'm sorry you mattress was uncomfortable and the cleaning staff didn't run vacuum during your stay. If you visit us again, please let us know at the front desk and we would be happy to provide this service for you. I'm sorry we didn't meet your expectations about this. Also, the sinks in our ADA rooms have a scald protector on them which lowers the water temperature. We are able to adjust this setting for you if you would like. We thank you for giving us the opportunity to improve and look forward to hosting you again.

I was there for a wedding, and really like the way they had the hotel laid out so that event space is relegated to one side, so that no rooms are affected by event noise. it seemed like a great space for weddings and large events, while the hotel itself had a very nice breakfast, a nice pool, and clean and spacious rooms.

Better hotels in the area
Both front desk attendants weren’t the friendliest. We requested a late check out and were offered a 15 minute extension. The shower had built up soap scum around the edges and the room had a urine odor. Air conditioner made a horrible rattle all night.

The Berlin Encore is our favorite place to stay when we visit the Amish Country! We’ve stayed at other properties and it’s just something about this one. They’re friendly, it’s safe and just overall comfortable! One of the only places I actually feel comfortable staying at with my family.
