We certainly wish we could carry all the great choices that Der Dutchman has to offer but unfortunately, in order to keep our breakfast at no additional cost for our guests, we do have to limit what we have on the buffet. Please know that we do offer 25% off coupons for any guests who would prefer to dine next door. We are in the process of updating our mattresses and we will certainly have maintenance look at the bed & see if it is time for a replacement. Thank you for your honest review Gretchen. I was very concerned when I read it because we do not discriminate against our 3rd party guests. It is true that you are not able to select a specific room number/side of the hotel through a 3rd party application and it is also true that we are unable to change the room type of a 3rd party booking, but we can certainly relocate a guest to another room of the same type if one is available. I looked into your reservation and it seems that you booked a 2 night stay on Monday March 25th & Tuesday March 26th and we were in fact full on that Tuesday night other than our handicap accessible room & the room right next to yours, which was occupied during your first night. Please note that we do not assign your room when you book through a 3rd party, the 3rd party booking agent assigns your room. I am very sorry if you felt discriminated against because you booked through a 3rd party, it should have been properly explained to you that the only way to select a specific room number or request an upgrade is to book directly through the hotel. Please call the GM to discuss this matter further.
