We thought since our normal hotel in Shakopee was booked we'd stick with the Holiday Inn. This one is NOTHING like the wonderful one in Shakopee. There was uncleaned urine on the bathroom wall. There was loud construction and the pool was closed. Not much for choices in the fitness room and the lady at the front desk was rude

When i booked my room i was unaware the hotels pool was under construction. Then when i checked in I again was not told the pool was under construction. So when i went to check out the pool I was not happy to see it not working. When i went to address this with management they said it was posted on the website. Well not everyone books thru the website like me so i had no idea. I explained that and wanted my money back. He then told me they had a contracted with anytime fitness pool across town. I said that is not convient as it is winter. I am not happy with this holiday inn which is privately owned and will never be returning.

We are doing our best to disclose the status of certain amenities and the condition of the property. We have timely provided notice to all booking channels that have access to making a reservation at our property.In regards to the disappointment of not being able to utilize our pool, we are apologetic for. We strive to uphold our guest satisfaction and meet our obligations to our guests. Therefore, we are trying to better our facility for all future stays. Meanwhile, to meet our obligation for an aquatic amenity. We’ve been able to partner with our local LIFETIME FITNESS that is located 0.3 miles from the property. It can be visited by our guests free of charge.We understand the frustrations you experienced during your stay. We look forward to fulfilling our promise in making future stays at this hotel more enjoyable.

The Holiday Inn Express in Chanhassen was excellent! Bed was super comfy and the room was spotless! The breakfast was plentiful, fresh and lots from which to choose! We will stay there whenever we visit the Twin Cities! Definitely a great value!

The staff was less than enthusiastic about checking in and helping me. The room was normal but the toilet was difficult to flush. The owner must be a cheap skate because the number of channels on the TV was similar to having rabbit ears on a house. Breakfast has good options but is crammed into one wall and everyone is waiting on the person in front of them. They should spread it out to the wall by the windows to spread people out. Parking lot is weird. They have parking on sides instead of upfront. I love holiday inns but this one isn’t great especially for the price.

Basic, clean but nothing special
Nothing special, very basic. The shower head would not stay in a usable position without being held. There’s an inroom coffee machine but you have to buy water to use it. Staff was nice and bed was clean and comfortable. Ok stay after a night at the Chanhassen Dinner Theatre.

Extremely polite and helpful staff. Comfortable beds. Very clean room. HVAC unit in the room was a little loud. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

The pool and hot tub were not freezing and unable to be used, the breakfast was closed a 1/2 hour early, the elevator and rooms were dirty. We could sleep, watch tv, and that’s about it.

I have stayed there multiple times in the past 10 years, which I really enjoyed, and was disappointed to see there was no longer a slide. The pool area needs improvements and the walls in the hotel room were cracking.

Front desk check-in was friendly and fast. Staff was very friendly and answered all my questions. I reserved an executive queen suite and it was roomy, clean and met all my expectations. The area was close to restaurants, entertainment and felt very safe. Would definitely stay here again.

Quiet, clean great breakfast. Desk staff could not tell me how to reach front desk via desk phone in room I wanted to contact desk with an internet question (could not connect). Had to physically go to front desk. Staff told me he did not know how a guest reached front desk via room phone. Staff contact would not give me his name, very unfriendly even though he did get me connected to the internet.

Everything was great from the staff to our room to the breakfast area. The one area of improvement would be the pool. The hot tub had a mildew around the rim of the seating area and smelled musty. I’m not sure if the pool is supposed to be heated or not but the water was too cold to swim in. Other than that, everything was great.
