The property itself is fine. Things inside the room are getting a little beat up. I wouldn't necessarily rank it as "luxury". I booked my 1 King Bed Superior Room a week in advance. At check in the guy at the desk said I was booked for a queen bed. I told him I booked a King. He said he would "upgrade" me to a double queen room! I then got out my confirmation and showed him I specifically booked a king. He said he'd "see what's available". After we said we'd just cancel he then found me a king...that I had booked! Im not sure what they were trying to do but I'll definitely be booking elsewhere for future downtown stays.

Everything was wonderful at the hotel ivy, but the beds were extremely uncomfortable and hard. If they get better more comfortable mattresses I would consider staying at the hotel again in the future….

For rating and price, I expected more from the property. There wasn’t a great seating area in the lobby. We had spa appointments and was very disappointed in the cleanliness of that area and my massage.

I was quite disappointed that there isn’t a better deal for those who just want to use the spa ammenities. You have to book a full price spa service to use the spa amenities. Not even a discount for guests? GFCI was broken in the bathroom. Be sure if you use valet, call like 15 min before (wait time was February on a Thursday imagine peak season). That’s if there is no one else is ahead of you I wouldn’t have booked my stay knowing we can’t use the spa with out paying an extra min $100 each even just for an hour. There are other hotels that have these type of amenities included.

Hello Jonathan,Thank you for your feedback. The amenities inside Anda Spa are available to Hotel Ivy guests who book a treatment at Anda Spa, along with Anda Spa customers enjoying a treatment. We do set aside each day a limited number of discounted treatments available exclusively to hotel guests. I'm sorry if this was not made clear during your stay. I'll work with my team to make sure we're better communicating this special offer to hotel guests in the future. - Mark M, GM

Very luxurious hotel
The staff was very friendly and helpful and the restaurant was great. The valet parking is overpriced and there is parking across the street for $40 less. The water bottles in the room are not free, even if they don't have a price tag.

Fruit flies were flying around in the bar. Light bulbs in the bathroom didn’t work when arrived. They were replaced promptly though. I was able to adjust the temperature only upon entry the first day, was super cold. Heard someone being robbed outside across the street. Waited 2 hours for the Masa restaurant to open at 5pm after told by staff, just to google that they didn’t open until Tuesday at 5pm.

The beds were comfortable. The room was spacious. There was a big bathroom which included a nice tub. We enjoyed the bathrobe and slippers. They checked with us by text to see if we needed anything. Very professional and gracious.

Saved by the spa
My room was very clean but I did have a hole in my comforter the tv remote was missing only one robe and we had no ice bucket I was somewhat taken back by theses issues but the spa was amazing

The beds are hard as a rock. If thats your thing. The hotel and staff are wonderful. We had to get a bunch of blankets sent to us for it to be comfortable.

Beautiful property. Bartender at night was annoying. Flipping her hair and talking with a few customers but ignored us. Suggest for such a speciality hotel a bartender with more manners and better customer service

Great experience and better honest housekeeping, left my charger and called the next day and it was there, thank you for such great service and the pillows are super soft and the bed was amazingly comfortable
