“I can’t say enough about the otter! From the amazing staff, that goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. Great gift shop, great restaurant inside the hotel clean and extremely comfy beds. Convenience of offsales in the building as well! I travel extensively for work, for over 10 years, and this has by far been the best bang for your buck ever!!! Highly recommend!”

“CUTE, RUSTIC AND lodge like. The rooms are simple..but have everyting you need. Bed was comforable..pillows were a bit flat but they give you two so that's nice. Staff was great.. we needed to leave early due to weather and they refunded the last night. Coffee pot in room. You can cook waffles if you want for breakfast. Pool was being repaired but looks nice. Saw 4 deer run through the property one morning. Walking distance to town square..near some very good restaurants..try the Walleye...

“The property was fine. However you have to bring all of your own toilet paper, hand towels/hand soap for the bathroom, paper towels, dish soap for the kitchen, blankets and pillows. The lodge was FILLED with cobwebs, yet we were charged extra upon our check out for not taking out the garbages. There was no heads up that we were going to be charged either. The lack of communication on that was truly upsetting. We didn’t say anything during our stay about the cobwebs and I wish we would have...

“Kim and her staff make you feel welcomed from the time you check in until the moment you leave. They treat you like family, but are not as intrusive. The property is beautiful, the beach is calling your name and the one of many fire pits is waiting for you in the evening. “This is a cute motel. The property was clean and we had excellent communication. We were able to get an early check in when we called which was wonderful. Check in and check out was easy and convenient which doesn’t always happen with motels which have been updated. The walls are paper thin, so if you are a person that needs quiet I would say this is not the place for you. The bathroom was clean but the tub was not updated(think pink). This meant a nice big tub even if it was pink from another...

“Weekend away wheeling around and enjoying the outdoors. Cabin was cute, clean and had everything we needed. Eric was very welcoming and shared great local information. Would definately recommend!!! We plan to stay again next winter to check out the area snowmobiling”
