“We stayed one night while passing through the area but I wish it were longer. This place has gorgeous views from every window. Quiet and secluded but easy to find with fantastic instructions from the hosts. The space is so clean and comfortable with everything you need. It was the perfect layout for us to make own meals and our toddler to have his own futon bed to sleep. Can't recommend this place enough.”

“Wonderful place, away from it all, but with quick wifi to stay in touch with the world. Prairie dogs, bunnies, hummingbirds and more to help you appreciate the beautiful flora and fauna of Colorado. Easy access to all the activities we planned. Plenty of bedding, towels, toiletries and even a couple bottles of wine to help us feel at home. Wonderful fire pit, clean BBQ and horseshoes for outdoor entertainment. Owner was quick to respond to any questions and concerns. Would definitely rent again!”

“We stayed at the Catalpa Cottage Cottage two years ago and loved everything about the Cottage and Paonia. We returned this year to visit a friend and to enjoy the town and surroundings. The cottage is sweet, inviting and very comfortable, is nicely decorated with a comfy bed, has a gourmet kitchen and had a beautiful shaded deck. Its location is semi rural with a view of nearby hills, yet just a couple of blocks from downtown. We eagerly anticipated our return this year and can't wait to return...
