Beautiful property. Great view, clean, polite staff. A main road runs directly in front the property so sitting on the balcony outside the restaurant is quite noisy and the smell of diesel is quite strong. Rooms need more pillows. At least 2 per guest would be adequate. Rooms also need blankets instead of cotton sheets. Not warm enough with AC running at night. Hotel restaurant was the main problem. Menu was not interesting and food was not appetizing. Meals tasted as if they were prepared days in advance and heated when ordered, very stale. Jamaica is filled with delicious foods, fruits and fresh coconut water. This hotel fell short on delivering any of those. Luckily, down the street was an amazing restaurant "pepper's". The food was fantastic so, we ate there quite often. The hotel staff kept mum about this hidden gem.
We found out from a taxi driver about Peppers!
