Great place, the best in Monteverde
I´ve been five times in Monteverde in other hotels, but this one was the best. Great experience. Very good location, excellent amenities, the staff was very kind and helpful. The restaurant serves amazing food. A place to return!!!

Una joya en el bosque de Monteverde
Un lugar encantador, con instalaciones excelentes y un equipo profesional que atienden de maravilla. Fue un placer hospedarnos allí. La comida del restaurante fue tan buena que todas las noches cenamos allí.

Hotel TOP en Monteverde
Teníamos nuestras dudas acerca del hotel antes de llegar, ya que las fotos en la página web no le hacen justicia. Al llegar nos encontramos por fuera un hotel que pareciera ser muy rústico pero es parte del diseño y del encanto del destino. La habitación estaba increible, con vista al bosque y un pequeño río que crea un ambiente de naturaleza y tranquilidad. El hotel cuenta con un mariposario donde puedes tener una cena privada. La comida del restaurante exquisita, la entrada de atún y la carne en salsa de moras fue sensasional. Cuentan con una piscina climatizada donde además puedes observar el atardecer. Servicio excepcional donde quisieramos mencionar a Gil y Jorge por su servicio genuino y de alta calidad. Todo el staff muy amable y el servicio personalizado excelente. Lamentablemente solo estuvimos una noche, pero sin duda alguna regresariamos a este hotel y lo recomendamos como el mejor de Monteverde. Deseamos volver pronto.

Hermoso hotel y jardines
El hotel está increíble y tiene excelentes jardines. Las habitaciones están muy bonitas y tiene una excelente vista en cualquier habitación que te quedes. El personal es super amable y dan un excelente servicio y recomendaciones. Además, se recomienda no perderse de la oportunidad de cenar en el observatorio de las mariposas!

Estuvimos con mis hijos enel hote durantw 3 noches. Tiene un entorno previoso muy bien cuidado. La pileta climatizada increible y como nos sucedio en toda costa rica el personal del hotel super amable. Sin duda volveria

Lo recomiendo, experiencia diferente y relajante
El hotel está muy bien para desconectar y relajar, no tiene televisión ni aire acondicionado, puede ser problema para algunos. Tiene una zona de meditación y yoga increíble, la ambientación del hotel muy padre, alberca y comida excelentes.

Costa Rica esta muy caro!
Muy caro el hotel si se compara con otros paises. Si siguen cobrando de esa manera los turistas se iran para Nicaragua. Ya ni hay animales en Monte Verde de tantos buses y turistas en la zona. Ya Monte Verde es zona para turistas Norteamericanos que no pueden caminar. Tipo Disney. El Hotel es muy bonito y bien cuidado. Las habitaciones una al lado de la otra, se escucha al vecino. Check out a las 11am? Con lo que cobran!

Hotel en Monteverde
Monteverde Lodge es un hotel muy cómodo, las camas están en excelente estado, las habitaciones huelen muy rico y la atención del personal es excelente. Incluye un desayuno a la carta que me pareció simplemente bueno. Es un lugar céntrico y puede uno ir caminando al centro del pueblo. Mi habitación no tenía televisión.

Precio elevado pero buena calidad
Pasamos una noche en el hotel y la verdad es que nos gustó mucho. El jacuzzi es un punto a favor, dado que oscurece pronto y por la tarde no tienes mucho que hacer en la zona. El desayuno del hotel, en el que puedes elegir el plato que quieras de la carta, también es un punto favor. Es caro, pero recibes un buen servicio.

Muy lindo!
Me pareció un hotel muy bonito y acogedor. El servicio es excelente y las habitaciones limpias y lindas. Si me pareció un poco costoso y lástima que la máquina de capuccino ya llevaba un mes dañada. Pero fuera de esto lo recomiendo 100%.

Ideal para recuperar fuerzas
El hotel está nuevo, limpio y todo el personal es encantador. Después de la pista de 20 km en tierras para llegar a Santa Elena, no imaginamos que el jacuzzi podía reconfortar tanto, al igual que la comodidad de la cama. Ideal para descansar después de patear. La comida de su nueva carta es muy rica, al igual que los desayunos especialmente el "Tropical". Si hay alguna pega son las escaleras (sólo 1 planta) para acceder a la habitación, aunque también hay habitaciones con accesibilidad a personas con movilidad reducida.

The hotel and grounds were kept in immaculate condition. We were greeted by the front desk staff eagerly and they offered a lot of help as we checked in and later booked some excursions in the area. All of the staff that we interacted with were friendly, polite and helpful. The staff went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed. The room we stayed in was an older room located on the ground floor below the restaurant area. The room was comfortable and had a nice private outdoor terrace overlooking the gardens. The room felt like it could use a modern refresh, but it was functional. The hotel also had a fantastic orchid room that had fresh air and calming natural light. This room felt underused despite it being set up for dining or drinks. The restaurant on site has a wood burning fireplace for ambiance in the evening, and has a lovely large open air seating area to enjoy happy hour drinks while watching the sunset, or enjoying breakfast.

The setting is beautiful and the restaurant is amazing! The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had two fantastic tours with Donald, who was a limitless source of knowledge and enthusiasm. His tours were a major highlight because he was so excited to share the local wildlife with us. All in all a very peaceful and relaxing stay.

Missed morning coffee
Nice hotel, lovely grounds and very friendly, efficient staff. Tea/coffee making facilities would be an improvement; we would have enjoyed a coffee on our balcony early morning but no facilities to make one. No room/hotel info, no iron. Town is very close by so convenient location.

Lush greenery everywhere. Had a stream running next to our room! Complete privacy and great ambience. Very well maintained property. Had two trails in this property. And they allow guests to do trails (one is quite a challenge) on sister property. Excellent view from deck of other property. Staff is very nice. Breakfast was included and was good. Rooms very clean. And good decorations. The only issue we had was they have their some of the closet space inside the bathroom (which is quite big). But it's a hassle to use it. Other than that no issues.

We LOVED this lodging. It is simple and beautiful. The staff could not have been more responsive or helpful. The breakfast included was excellent. It’s very close to lots of adventure/activities. And while it has a feeling of total seclusion, it is just a 5 minute walk to town where there are several great restaurants where we had some delicious meals with local fare. Highly recommend this property!

We had to change rooms due to a strong fragrance. The next room was much better but when we turned on the bathroom fan it smelled again - poor ventalation caused both of us headaches so we did not spend much time at the property for the three nights we booked. We wanted to dine there but it's close to $20 CDN for just a cocktail. No wonder the dining area was empty. It rains every night and the hotel does not offer TV so it was boring come the evening. On a positive note the breakfast was very enjoyable and Rebecca was most helpful to ensure our laundry was taken care.

Very nice breaffast Check out the trails on the hotel property. Excellent bird opportunities including toucan and quetzal. The rooms are very comfortable but if you want a quality view from your veranda you will need to opt for the more expensive rooms.

Juste parfait
Super hôtel avec un service vraiment au top, les chambres sont très confortables, le personnel au petit soin et le restaurant est très bons avec une belle carte des vins. Les sentiers aménagés et la piscine chauffée sont un vrai plus.

This hotel is beautiful and the breakfast is great! The beds were comfy too.. we liked that they had a drinking water dispenser where we can fill up our water bottles. So no need to buy water bottles. Staff was very attentive. The hotel is close to town. Less that a 5 min drive where there a multiple eating options. Very convenient I do wish that the rooms had a tv. I like to watch tv to unwind after a busy day.

The property was beautiful and everyone on staff were wonderful. The window in the bathroom was facing the hall and was open so it could get noisy but wasn’t a big impact to our stay.
