Good location at walking distance from Gateway of India and the ships to Elephanta island. Clean, spacious and well equipped rooms.

A REAL GEM, todo un descubrimiento
PERFECT LOCATION, within the art gallery district, walking distance from the top city attractions, ONLY ONE SMALL (but working) ELEVATOR FOR THE ENTIRE BUILDING UBICACIÓN IDEAL, en la zona de cañerías de arte, todas las atracciones a distancia caminando, OJO UN SOLO ELEVADOR PARA TODO EL EDIFICIO (por el momento funciona)

While this hotel is pretty average, the location on the harbor is first rate. Also the rooftop restaurant is great - the views, the food and the staff.

It is the second time we have stayed at the Hotel Harbour View. We have loved it the both times; However i do feel that having a room with the harbour view helps enormously. Waking up to the view is amazing. The staff are very helpful. I will be staying there again.

Good Stay, Good View Mumbai
I found the service to be excellent here. I would definitely recommend the Harbour view side—it was so beautiful every morning. Mr. Sahil was amazing in customer service. I joined friends in a hotel nearby and I didn’t feel that the service was as good as Hotel Harbour view. Great location!

Enjoyable stay
The hotel is great value for money in an excellent location. We had a harbour view room which was worth the extra. The staff are very friendly and helpful and there is a lovely rooftop bar and restaurant. Thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay.

Excellentes Hotel direkt am alten Hafen. Bei den Zimmern mit Meersicht wunderbarer Ausblick über die Bay und echt atemberaubende Sonnenaufgänge vom Zimmer und von der Dachterasse. Sehr nahe zum Zentrum von Colaba und Gateway of India. Blitzsauberes Zimmer mit allen Annehmlickeiten, super freundliches Personal und sehr gute und vielfältige Küche.

Very good location
The first, I must tell that this is a hotel at a third floor of a building. The hotel has also some part of fourth floor used as breakfast area and bar at the evenings. There is another hotel in the same building which is using first and second floors. Plus there is one guesthouse and one cafe other than hotels in the same building... The hotel has 15 rooms at third floor of the building. I was in the room 305 in the first night which is facing harbour with a small window. The room was very very small. It was impossible to fit a normal size bed in this small room. So, the room has small size of bed and my feet was out of the bed all night. The next day we are shifted to the room 305 which has a normal size of bad but the room is small again because the bed takes most of the place of the room. Finally, the rooms are not really large enough but very well organized and very well maintained. Bathroom is clean and shower is very good too. If you forget about this hotel is not holding all building still one of the best hotel close to Gate Of India. Location is is excellent. Very good harbour view (if reserved sea view room, walkable distance to Gate Of India and restaurants around Gate of India... Just remind the front desk to have normal bed size room if you are 180 cm or 6 feet tall or over...

Schönes Hotel in sehr guter Lage. Einige Sehenswürdigkeiten sind in direkter Nachbarschaft. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, die Zimmer sehr sauber. Man kann aus vier Frühstücksoptionen wählen, die in Ordnung sind, aber etwas reichhaltiger sein dürften.

Rustic but clean
Very rustic hotel, generally clean, bed was comfy and got a really nice roof top bar overlooking the harbour. Difficult to find, look for the Starlight hotel

Location excellent .The view from room is simply awesome . Staff attitude average . Don’t expect warm and friendly welcome or goodbye . Bathroom needs deep cleaning , mould on ceiling. Electric sockets can be faulty . Phone got busted while charging .

Excellent Location - Beautiful Views
Wonderful location! We walked to multiple old town sites with ease. The area was safe and full of people enjoying the promenade. The staff was very helpful. They were very fast about responding to our request for towels and a hair dryer. Additionally, at check out three bell boys walked us out and got a taxi for us. (We only had two small suitcases. One bell boy would have been enough. But they were always so helpful and kind that three of them walked us out.) We chose a room with waterfront view. The view was gorgeous. As the name of the hotel says, Harbour View, the room had a perfect view of the Harbour. We could also glimpse the Gate of India at an angle from our window. The room was comfortable and had a boutique charm, though quite aged and plain. We were able to exchange money at a very competitive rate. Other hotels in India had poor exchange rates up to a loss of 10%. The Harbour View had a fantastic rate. The hotel has a terrace restaurant. The breakfast was filling and the waiter very attentive. We also had a late lunch on the terrace once. I didn’t care much for the menu options as it was hard to find something vegetarian that didn’t have onions. At other restaurants the waiters were quick to offer to have meals made without onions for me.

Hotel Harbor View is in a great location for tourists--great shopping nearby and lots of excellent eating places nearby. The hotel is cozy and well-managed. Service is excellent. The rooftop restaurant is really very good. Wonderful view.

I do not recommend this hotel at all. Filthy black mold in the bathrooms and should be closed down in my view based on health concerns for cleanliness/ disease. The images on the expedia website are absolutely not what this hotel offers. I will be requesting a full refund as will the 7 other people who stayed there.
