Perfect Get Away!
This cute place was perfect for my husband and I to get away. Clean, quiet, beautiful area. We x-c skied and checked out the Ice Caves. We would go again :)

Great quiet & secluded getaway.
My wife and I spent two nights over New Years with our 2 labs, it was a great getaway. Cozy, warm little cabin with just the right amount of amenities. We explored waterfalls and hiking trails, but really enjoyed just relaxing with a bottle of wine - great place to get away and relax. The owners were great to work with and were extremely accommodating, we highly recommend this property!!

Amazing!
My girlfriend (now fiancè) stayed here from October 11-14 and we couldn’t have been more happy about the cabin! We love how secluded it is and the spotty cell phone service was exactly what we were looking for lol. We hiked Pictured Rocks and our first destination was Chapel Falls and Chapel Rock (where I proposed). My fiancè and I will remember our trip and this cabin for the rest of our lives, and we definitely considering booking another trip and saying here! Amazing place!

On Golden Pond
Mostly good. However, master bed in the loft is not very comfortable for those of us over 70. There is a couch bed on bottom floor, but using it would present other problems. Just be aware that you will have to climb up and down a ladder when you stay here.

One Year Wedding Anniversary
Not only is this cabin absolutely precious, it also has everything you’ll need. My husband and I stayed here for our one year wedding anniversary, and we’re already planning our next trip. We were so impressed with how clean and cozy this cabin is.

We are repeat visitors having stayed here 5 years ago for our honeymoon. We loved it so much that we came back to celebrate our 5 year anniversary! We love the peaceful tranquility of the lake, the kayaks and fire pit, plus the location is perfect for exploring Munising, hiking trails, and waterfalls. This cabin is perfect for two people looking for simplicity, peace and serenity. It is stocked with the basics for cooking, grilling, and bathroom linen needs.

The cabin was great and centrally located between waterfalls and Munising. It does have steep steps and rural roads but all of that was clearly disclosed and not an issue for us. We loved the location and quiet.

My 4 year old enjoyed his “attic fort” sleeping space and I enjoyed the peaceful serenity. Great for seeing the waterfalls and a nice little get away. Was perfect for what I was trying to achieve!

Remote paradise
Gorgeous cabin that has everything you need for a short or long stay in your home away from home. It was so peaceful being so remote and the lake made it extra special. We only heard/saw 1 other person driving on the road during our 2 night stay! We were lucky enough to see some cranes and loons. The loons were calling to each other which was so surreal to hear. One loon even flew right over our heads as we sat on the dock!! The lake was so pristine and calm. We ventured out on the kayaks that were provided to explore the beauty from a different perspective. The time we were there the lake was loaded with water lilies which were so gorgeous to see them opening. It was great having the ability to just use the firewood that was availble to purchase right there at the cabin! The cabin had everything we needed and more! The bed was comfy and we loved our stay. Was a short drive to Munising where we hunted down some of the waterfalls , enjoyed trying local pasties (like a hand-held pot pie), and did a kayak/boat tour of the Pictured Rocks. We will treasure these memories forever! A little further away we went to the Big Spring just be prepared our GPS (once we got a connection) led us down some serious gravel/dirt roads. The directions given to make it to the property were perfect since you will definitely lose connection on the way in. Thanks again for being amazing hosts!

Wonderful getaway!
There were some minor issues with cleanliness which we were disappointed with because of the $90 cleaning fee that is added to the cost, but owners said they would address these issues (we didn't tell them until after our stay because we did not have a good connection signal) and I believe they will. Everything else was wonderful. Very secluded and private. Did a kayak trip of Pictured Rocks that was amazing and it was only a 30 minute (very pleasant) drive from Munising.

Lovely, secluded cabin on Lake Aleck
A delightful place to stay, cosy and inviting. Beautifully positioned with a lake view and family of geese! Bring good bug repellent! Good amenities included on the whole, although we did buy a washing up brush and there was no hairdryer. Be prepared for steep ladder type stairs to the sleeping accommodation (no bannister) and dirt roads, which after some heavy rain were interesting to drive on if you're not used to them. Our stay was slightly marred by the fact that building work was going on at an adjacent cabin which created some noise and spoiled the peaceful atmosphere somewhat , and that we couldn't dispose of our rubbish - the bin was completely full from previous occupants. However, we had a lovely stay overall, and a rainy day during our time there gave us the luxury of curling up with a good book all day!

Great little cabin on the lake
We had an amazing time staying at this cozy cabin. Beautiful location on the lake, the leaves were changing during our stay and it created an amazing backdrop. Spent a lot of time sitting by the lake and fire pit. Even used the kayaks provided by the host to go around the lake. The cabin was well kept, the only issue we had was a lot of hair and dirt in the sheets of the bed when we first arrived. There's limited cell service at the location, but that created a secluded getaway vibe. Would recommend this cabin for anybody visiting the area.

Perfect Northwoods Getaway
The perfect little cabin experience! Cozy and clean, with everything you need to relax and unwind in the beauty of the UP. A short backwoods drive from Munising, my husband and I were thrilled to end our camping trips with this beautiful cabin experience. Rustic Log Cabin Retreat
This was a very comfortable property on lake, extremely quiet and peaceful. There is no wifi or cell reception so you should print your arrival instructions before you arrive. Close to Munising so ideal to explore the Picture Rocks National Shoreline.
