The thermostat in the room was just for looks. Room was just a bit too cold. An extra blanket did the trick. I will still recommend this location because of the excellent staff.

The A/C in my room did not work. The room smelled liked smoke. There was dirt on the ealls when I walked in the furniture had rips and tears in it. The pillows has stains on it as well. Do not recommend.

I am deeply sorry about the experience you had. That is certainly not our normal standard, and I will research to find why you were placed in a room that was clearly not ready for our guests. Our overall stay was good. The staff was great with the exception of the woman that checked us in. She was unpleasant. The room we reserved was not the room they provided (2 full beds rather than the King bed suite I reserved. The rest of the staff were very accommodating and very much of service.

Great hotel close to French Quarter of New Orleans, Bourbon Street is only a 10min walk away. The staff were very friendly and our room was clean and comfortable with our towels changed daily by housekeeping without even asking. Our only negatives - we had to wait 40mins for a replacement iron because ours was broken - the hotel tried to charge us for valet parking even though we hadn't come in a car, but they did remove this from the bill when requested. - our room door (#624) and those around us don't seem to have working closers so they slam shut all the time which can be annoying through the night.

Bathroom was not cleaned thoroughly. Hair on the ceiling, sink, left over toothpaste stains, stains on towels. Trash was left over, parts of the wall was peeling….other than that the cookies and location was the best part.

Great location. Dining options great . Walkable . Easy access to French Quarter. Concierge helpful. Parking even though a fee was great ..parking staff ✅. Staff was genuinely friendly and helpful. Room was decent. Price was the cheapest I could find and the best location right next to French quarter fest. Walls are super thin. I’m talking like cruise ship thin. Only negative was We could hear the neighbors next door late at night.

This place has really gone downhill recently. I stayed here previously in April 2022 and had an excellent stay. It’s in a great location, walkable to the quarter, but removed from the noise and chaos. Room was clean and in great condition and staff were super friendly, and available for anything you might need. So when it came time to revisit New Orleans, I chose to come back here. Unfortunately the room this time was in horrible condition. The area around the AC was moldy, and the thing made constant clanking noises like a loud, ticking clock. It also couldn’t cool below about 70 degrees - fine for April in NoLa, but would be miserable in the summer. There was mold around the upper area of the toilet bowl, indicating it hadn’t been properly scrubbed in a while, and ceiling tiles out of place in the bathroom. The tile grout on the bathroom floor was filthy as well, though shower grout was in good, clean condition. A lot of the issues seemed like maintenance problems stemming from poor management and probably staffing cutbacks (all too common these days.) The staff I interacted with were still very pleasant, but the hotel itself is in shambles compared to what it used to be. Not planning on returning.

We arrived after a Mississippi River cruise at a little before noon, more than 4 hours before check-in time. The room we were scheduled for was not yet ready, but Gary at the front desk found another room that we could get right into. We VERY much appreciated this. The day before we were to check out, we tried to print out our airline boarding passes on the computer there. We asked Derek at the front desk for help, and he printed the passes out for us. We VERY much appreciated this also. So accolades to Gary and Derek.

The hotel was conveniently located and the staff was excellent. My only complaint is that I was double charged for my room. I’m still waiting to see the credit on my card. Valet parking is a little pricey at $53 and some change and that was for one night. Also our air conditioner in our room didn’t seem to cool very well.
