Excelente ubicación
The Quisby tiene muy buena ubicación si tienen que ir al Centro de Conveciones, también se puede ir caminando a French Market y se dura como 25 minutos, pero si no quieren caminar está la opción del tranvía que para al frente del hotel. La habitación con baño privado es excelente decisión

Muy buen hostel con lo necesario limpio y personal muy amable cafe gratis el tranvia pasa al frente. No escuche bulla ni gente haciendo escandalos

Excelente, limpio, nuevo, muy buena atención, el área de ubicación está muy bien, y para ir al french quarter es muy cómodo con el tranvía que para en la puerta. Muuuuuy recomendable

Muy buen experiencia
The Quisby es un lugar ideal para pasar unos días en New Orleans: es seguro, bien ubicado y la atención es muy buena. Puedes ir caminando hasta el Barrio Francés o hasta el paseo al lado del río.

Lo recomiendo esta a 20 min caminando para llegar a la zona turística , un poco flojo el desayuno . Todo lo demás está muy bien el hostal

First off when I usually come visit New Orleans I always stay here. The staff is absolutely fantastic and the housekeepers so such an amazing job everyday. Thank y'all so much for a great stay as usual.

Fantastic hostel with kind staff and nice amenities. It’s in a great location with easy access to public transport, and most importantly it’s affordable. My partner and I stayed in a queen room with bathroom—basically exactly the same as a hotel room—for half the cost of any other hotels in NOLA. It’s a hostel, so it’s of course not luxury (ie. no toiletries, no tvs in room, bedding is pretty basic), but you get the bonus of access to the little kitchen/living room/bar. One thing to note is the walls are thin and you can hear your neighbors at times, but I easily solved that by sleeping with my sound-canceling headphones. They also sell ear plugs.

I was actually extremely surprised by how nice this hostel is. Super clean, bathroom and shower are in the room, they have washers/dryers you can use, the staff was super chill, they play great music and have a 24/7 bar. If I ever come back im staying here again. 10/10.

It’s very noisy and one of the roommate was bringing extra guests on nights and no one was there to monitor any activity. I will never ever come and recommend this hostel to anyone.

WOW! What a find! I was hoping to find something affordable and close the National WWII Museum. The Quisby did both. Clean, safe, welcoming and close to museum. A great find.

Modern, chic, and worth it.
My friend and I were passing through New Orleans, and decided to stay here. We loved it. The employees we encountered were all very kind and helpful. The overall ambiance and style is nice. The lobby is clean, and breakfast served each day had good options. Once the day picks up, the lobby has some good tunes on. The rooms themselves were also nice, and well kept. I would say the only thing to keep in mind when in your room is you can hear a lot, but there are complimentary earplugs at the front desk. I would recommend for solo, couple, and friends traveling.

I was wrongly put in a girls room on new years eve. I was told it wasnt their fault and they were booked and good luck to me. I really dont care whose fault it was, it sure wasnt mine because i was told it wasnt and was given a full refund. This was around 2.00am so i had to go check my suitcase in a casino and had to look for a place for hours to end up in days inn close to the airport. So yes between expedia and this hostel, they both suck. If i was to reserve again there i would call and make sure they have their reservation right so you dont end up on the street.

Absolutely to be recommended!! Great location for various neighborhoods also public transport. Parked around the corner for free. AnnMarie (and her colleagues) at the front desk were marvellous, she fixed booking issues (expedia not the Quisbys mess) with a laugh and a smile. Affordable inhouse bar and lounge area. Clean and nice rooms. Would gladly go there again:)

Great value and convenience
I enjoyed my stay at The Quisby. This was my first time staying in a hostel so I didn’t know what to expect. The people at the front desk were nice. There was a bar and a free drink was available upon arrival. There is a community refrigerator available for use. Coffee was available in the morning as well as some breakfast items. Several restaurants were within walking distance as well as two convenience stores. I was in the 4 bed female room. It had its own bathroom. The lockers were bigger than I expected- probably big enough to fit a large suitcase standing up. I brought my own lock. It was a great value and I was within walking distance or a trolley ride of everywhere I wanted to go. I parked near the WWII museum since they do not have parking. It did get a little noisy at night, but nothing too bad. My towel disappeared and they were out of towels. My suggestion would be to bring a towel in case. Overall, I think it was a good choice and I would stay there again.

Upon arrival with my 10yr old son I was refused a room because I am a local.they told me they don’t accept locals which to me is discrimination

I stayed for 3 days and was very happy with the hostel. The front desk staff was friendly, the housekeeper changed the towels everyday, and the room was clean. Additionally, the bed was comfortable and the room setup was comfortable. Only problem I had was that there’s a lot of weirdos in New Orleans. So there’s a lot of people that are high as a kite sleeping in front of the building or walking around just being crazy. However, I didn’t feel in danger either all as a sole female traveler. My roommates were quite dirty, but I’m in a hostel, so I can’t expect everyone to clean after themselves. No noise around. Plus, breakfast was included.

The staff helped themselves to the things in my luggage! They allow you to check your bag at checking in and out. I left to get coffee, only to find several items missing. The other travelers are easier to leave with you luggage. I recommend getting a lock for staff members.

We apologize for the inconveniences you experienced during your stay at our The Quisby. We understand your concerns regarding your bag being tampered with, but i want to assure you that we looked at the cameras in our storage room and it shows no one going through bags . we also have a system that requires our front desk agents to verify ticket numbers before any bag is taken out the storage room.

It was a bit wild at times, but I had a great time at Quisby, nice people in expensive beer. Good coffee and yummy biscuits in the morning. Would have liked some fruit too. Loveded the open mic. Nice and close to the Garden district and Magazine steet. Was a great place to stay.

The Quisby is a quirky, no-frills hotel with perks for budget travelers that I greatly appreciate (a free drink, free breakfast, a good atmosphere). The AC worked like a charm despite the extremely hot weather, and the rooms were much quieter than I expected. The staff was friendly for the most part. The main issue was the area. Even though well connected to the streetcar and close to museums, the highway underpass that connects with Downtown feels unsafe, especially for solo travelers.
