Great location and service. Could use new furnitur
The Wyndham Midtown is a comfortable Hotel that features good service in a great location. The rooms need an urgent refurnishing as the desks, tables and closets are probably 15 years old with poor maintenance. The bathroom was nice and recently remodeled. We were assigned a room at our arrival that smelled like heavy smoke but the personnel was fine with assigning U.S. another room that was ok.

Muy buen hotel
Me hospede en este hotel por 2 semanas y todo fue excelente, lo mejor de este hotel es su ubicación ya que tienes acceso a todos los lugares turísticos, las habitaciones son muy comodas y hay un bien servicio. Muy recomendable

Great location, nice rooms, service could improve
Hotel is well located, at a walking distance from Grand Central, 5th Ave., Rockefeller Center etc. Rooms are big and kitchenette a plus. Bathroom is nice and well maintenened. Bed was comfortable but very noisy. Had a mixed experience with the staff, at Check-in the guy at front desk wasn't friendly at all, on the border of being disrespectful, but later there was a lady who was nice and helpful. Could improve some things but I would stay again.

Buen hotel, buena ubicación
Muy buen hotel, no esta en una zona turística pero tienes a 1 cuadra la Gran Central Terminal por lo que esta conectado a todos lados y hay movimiento a todas horas en las calles aledañas por esta razón, tiene un PUB alado y un Deli en la esquina de 24 hrs. Los cuartos muy cómodos, nada grandes, pero tampoco chicos, el servicio del personal excelente. Si van a turistear a NY se los recomiendo ya que tiene una buena ubicación y un precio accesible comparado con otros hoteles de NY.

Todo muy bien excepto que la limpieza la hacen muy tarde. Un día llegue después de las 8 de la noche y la señora recién estaba empezando a limpiar!

Muebles necesitan renovacion.
El hotel es comodo y el personal amable. Si bien los banos y la kitchenette estan OK, no es lo moderno que presentan en las fotos de los websites que lo promueven. El tamano de la habitacion es la ofrecida. Muebles de sala y comedor necesitan renovarse. Hotel funcional, limpio y economico, sin lujos ni amenidades. Regresaria? Si.

muy buen hotel, mejorar limpieza (aspirar)
Estuvimos muy bien en el hotel, pero el internet no funcionaba y había mucho polvo debajo de los muebles (no aspiran sufoiciente).

Our first time & we Love this place. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We had a beautiful room very spacious with good views. Loved everything about this place & my daughter loved the tv in the bathroom, made bath time more enjoyable! Definitely an added plus.

Very nice property but there are a couple of misleading things on the expedia listing. Firstly there is no pool like on the listing. And secondly they will try to pull you in to a timeshare presentation. Which you can obviously politely decline but it does take a little more time on check-in. The property itself was beautiful and the rooms were a great value. Overall I think it's worth the two quirks listed above (and you can even get some free stuff if you sit through the 2 hours!).

for four days nobody cleaned the room. Had to call for towels or coffee. The internet did not work and i was given a phone number to contact. I heard a lot of things about my devices when it was obvious that it was a problem with the wifi. Lost more than one hour with this with no result. A terrible view of the room. Never again on this property.

The security was terrible. I had an incident wirh someone staying there and they did nothing. Also i left a valuable coat befind and they said it wasnt there so someone stole it. I demand a full refund or you will be hearing from my lawyer..

Decent clean room. Fair price. But do not let them give you the pressured sales pitch for their timeshare. As you check in someone whisks you to the side and makes you think the pitch is part of the check in process. It is not! Then when you come and go some salesperson tries again to get you to listen to a 90 minute pitch to buy a timeshare. Oh, they promise you something. Also, everyone has their hand out for a tip. Bringing your bags in, getting you a cab, etc. But the room was reasonably nice and clean but very small. Expected for New York City.

Time share property - No thanks!
I would like to say this hotel is not the type to stay at if you want resort like amenities. They do not service your room and you are required to visit the front desk for any toiletries that are standard with a hotel stay. Visiting the front desk was unpleasant. The only time I felt like the staff was attentive was when I first arrived, but that is only because they really tried to sell me on a 90 minute time share meeting. I would have never stayed here if I was properly informed by hotels.com what I was getting myself into. Needless to say I didn’t agree to a time share pitch after that I became almost invisible. The ladies at the front desk had stand-off demeanors and not hospitable at all. Secondly, I ordered in food and some how they seem so inconvenienced by it and urged that I go get it outside the front door. Trust me there are so many other options in this area that could make your stay in NYC so much more comfortable. The slight discounted price is not worth your time here.
