Little Gem
This place really is a little gem. With the on-site parking, the re-furbished and pleasant rooms, the cleanliness and (most of all) the friendly and helpful service I could not fault it. The breakfast was really good too!

We had a fabulous weekend at York House. Lovely quiet rooms and a super breakfast. Our hosts were friendly and very helpful. Great location too.

Whittle my bay
Absolutely spotless from top to bottom , I work in the north east occasionally and now I’ve found this gem. Breakfast superb and if you can request room 1 wow !! Can’t wait to come back in future.

Hidden gem
A very luxurious feeling hotel. Well kept and such a lovely warm welcome from Michael. The level of service was something we didn’t expect and it really made the stay feel more special. Cannot recommend this place enough! Breakfast was great too!

A very clean and well decorated and furnished boutique hotel. A microwave and fridge in room and an immaculate small ensuite shower room.A good selection choices for breakfast. Although on a main road in Whtiely Bay, we found the hotel quiet and very safe. We didn't need parking (parked with family) but if the hotel was busy this could be an issue. We found the bed quite hard but this may suit some people a heartfelt wish for kingsize beds rather than double beds in Briitish hotels

Thank you for your kind words, I will pass on your comments to the team. We do offer King Size beds in our Signature bedrooms and although we have 10 spaces for parking front and back there is a free car park opposite the Hotel.

A gem of a hotel!
Fantastic hotel, room comfortable and good facilities. Great location for town centre and seafront. Excellent breakfast provided. Would thoroughly recommend staying here.

Really nice place and Michael could not do enough for you. The breakfast was lovely thank you. It is in a great location in the town, close to the shops etc., but quiet.

Excellent 3 night stay. Michael, the proprietor, was very attentive and helpful - a real asset. Very clean and well decorated. Extensive breakfast was superb. Will definitely stay again.

The owner went above and beyond to make us feel at home and welcomed. He was very friendly and helpful. Their was a box of chocolates and bottle of Prosecco waiting for us in our room that was included. They feature a lovely breakfast with any type of coffee and tea . All was above and beyond . And the staff was super nice😊😊😊

Great little hotel
Great little hotel, the owners are very welcoming and the breakfast was superb. I stayed during hot weather on the top floor so the room was a bit warm, but a part from that a pleasant stay. Would definitely stay again.

Ok for a stay
Location is great, free parking nearby but did feel the photos portrayed of the hotel were better than we actually found it. Was hoping for a bar area but none, room was tiny although clean, shower very small. Excellent breakfast but sadly wouldn’t stop again due to cost for one night
