We were able to see the Northern Lights in all their glory in a peaceful and still setting. The rental unit is immaculate, new and stylish, well appointed and the kitchen is spectacular. “We rented the lodge to celebrate our union ceremony and were absolutely blown away by the lodge. The pictures really do not do this gem service, it’s all the better in person. Family was breath taken by the river view and the splendor of the lodge. With 16 people it felt absolutely comfortable and not in any way crowded. The stay blew our expectations away! It was the north shore location of my dreams.”

“My partner and I stayed two nights with our 1 year old pup and had a great time. The roads up the Gunflint were well plowed and the hosts gave us instructions for an easy self check-in. The room was affordable, clean, the bed was comfortable, and the upstairs shared kitchen/community space has a large deck overlooking the lake. Hosts were great with communication.”

“The lodge was super cute and comfortable. We couldn’t get cold water from the sink in the bathroom and the tv wasn’t working right (could have called to fix it but was lazy and didn’t), but we enjoyed the location, the chairs outside to sit, and the bed was really comfortable.”
