The check in time was 4pm. We went a little early at 3.30pm and was told that the room was not available, which was fine so we were waiting in the lobby. 4pm came and gone, and we inquired with the front desk at 4.15. We were told no room was available so we continued to wait. After 4.30pm we went to check at the front desk again and now getting side eyes and was told there's no update. There was no attempt to find out when a room was going to be available. We didn't know if it was going to be 4.45pm, 5pm, or 7pm. The front desk person just refused to give any update and kept saying that she just started her shift and didn't know anything. We didn't know if we should cancel dinner reservation or change any of our evening plan. The could-not-care-less attitude was a big turn off. As for the room, it was fine. The balcony door lock was broken and the fridge leaked water when open, but otherwise a standard room for the price.
