We had a great moment, even if the the hotel looks old and the beds too, but I can say for the price was reasonable! But I really love the ubication.

If you are just looking for a place to visit the beach and sleep with no frills this is the place for you. Needed new blinds, bathroom door and perhaps a larger TV. Location is good. Walls thin, bed comfortable. Just needs a few updates. I would suggest getting an ocean view room and request one with the most windows.

Had a great time !
I could open my door and just watch the ocean from my room, went out on the balcony/walkway sometimes. It was supposed to rain, it did not, got some 20-30mph winds one day, overall weather was great ! Doesn't have an elevator, may need one by next year.

They have definitely upgraded their roooms alot sinxe we stayed last year. You now have a table with chairs and a good size mini fridge with freezer on top. Tvs were upgraded also and bathrooms looked much nicer. Just wish they would rip up the carpet, put a microwave in the room, station to wash the sand off your feet since you are beach front. The property just needs a good paint job and carpets gone.

Worth the stay.
Ive stayed here multiple times. This hotel is adequate. Its not the Hilton, its not skid row. The oceanview room is what makes it totally worth it. Besides, I didn't come to the beach to hang out in my hotel.

Proximity to beach was good. There were multiple times during the nigh that the entire building shook like an earthquake was occurring, not sure what was going on at the facility. Place could use a good cleaning and renovation

Staff was very attentive and kind, but the property is very dated and old which was a bit of a turn off. However, despite the age of the hotel, my room was clean and good enough for 2 days. It's not sound proof by any means and the locks on the door are old school and could easily be kicked in if anyone wanted to. The locks on the door are old fashioned regular key and has a chain. I used a chair under the door knob to feel a little bit safer.

I loved the location and the room was nice and big, bathroom was nice and had good shower. However, there was a nasty musty smell, I think they need to get rid of the carpet. Every time I walked in, the odor was very pungent and smelled like moldy/mildew. Honestly most rooms shouldn’t have carpet because it’s by the beach and hardwood floor is easier to clean and doesn’t smell.

The check-in was easy and quick. The motel itself was just okay. Our room was clean and decent. The room was just outdated. The ceiling wasn't clean, you could see some spots of whatever it was on the popcorn ceilings scattered all around. The carpet really needed to be replaced or cleaned. Honestly, I am not used to motels, we stayed because our friends picked this place because we were in town for an event, but I prefer Brand name Hotel chains. Close parking was limited. It was very close the boardwalk and beach access.

I really liked that it is near everything, and the staffs were very nice, however, the room needs to be updated. The door from the bathroom was broken and did not close at all. The blinds from the windows were really bad, could not open it at all. The room they have shown on expedia does not look nothing what is inside the room. On our first night we stood there, we also had aunts on our bed, it was a nightmare.

The rooms and building are VERY dated. Don't let the pictures fool you, the rooms are a little box, with minimal accoutrements. They're clean, but not in the best repair. The windows didn't even have proper curtains, just some cloth "remnants", roughly hung over the windows. Impossible to keep out light, or from letting people peek in. Don't expect a balcony. It's a narrow communal walkway with a chair on it. All the outside areas are dirty and sticky! The banister for the stairs is like fly paper! You can hear every sound from beside and below. We had kids on the 3rd floor running back & forth on the "walkway" and it sounded like a herd of cattle day & night. Don't arrive before 4pm, or you will have to wait to check-in. We arrived a 2pm and had to sit in our car for 2 hours. The beds were as old as the building. They felt like they were stuffed with straw and springs. Almost no parking, to speak of, and if you're not lucky enough to get one of the ~20 spots next to the hotel, you have to walk to the overflow lot across a busy street. The staff was friendly and very helpful, the only positive to note. The room was missing a remote for the TV and the staff member went out of his way to remedy the situation. The desk folks were very nice as well, and the cleaning staff too. It IS close to the beach and boardwalk and tram stop. We wound up checking out a day early and driving the 6 hours back home. Wasn't expecting the Taj Mahal for the price, but did expect more.

Overall it was perfect for a weekend trip. The room was clean, the staff was friendly, and the pool was nice. The only problem we had was that the water was cold when we were showering in the evening.
