Basic and to the point but the staff was friendly and helpful, the beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The toilet paper holder was the back of the toilet and it’s over it’s designed for basics not luxury but we would stay here again. The breakfast wasn’t fancy but it was ample and served its purpose.

The property was nice and did not have any issue with the hotel itself. Had EXCELLENT breakfast options, I was skeptical the first day when I seen it was a little different than the traditional breakfast area. However it was good. The room was clean and comfortable. I did go outside at night to get some items from my car and there was a coyote very close to the vehicles. I was still in the grass area but it was a little startling. However, it did not bother me and I didn't bother it. The hotel is located within walking distance to Cinergy which I did enjoy while being there. A great entertainment center for all ages!

Room was clean and property was pleasant however I booked a room with a king bed and was told there was none available because Expedia doesn’t have the correct information. Disappointed in both Expedia and the service at the hotel.

Cleaning was bad in my room as well as a friend who was staying at the same time. Floor was dirty, hair in the shower, etc. Everything was clean on my previous stay though, so maybe just an off day for the cleaning staff.

Adeqautely Sufficient
Great for a 1-night stay. The free breakfast left much to be desired and had minimal selection. The price was reasonable and the the rour oom and hotel was clean. We just missed a waide arrangement of breakfast options.

It was very clean. The bed and pillows were some of the better ones that I have had to sleep on. The only thing I was a little disappointed in was the lack of breakfast option, but it is not a deal breaker. I would stay here again.

Close to busy movie theatre and nice family Mexican restaurant. Clean property, nice room. Only small problem was that the soap dispenser did not work at the sink.

Got to the hotel at 12 am, no hot water!!! The next morning still no hot water, had to take a cold shower and get back on the road.

Surprised how wonderful it was
I had never heard of Avid, so I read the reviews. One said it looked like a bunch of Ikea cubes... I thought, I like Ikea. The other review said there wasn't a fridge etc... It sounded like they stayed right after it was opened, surely that is completely fixed. My room was clean, comfortable, the location was perfect near my job, food and gas. I will make this my home base everytime I am in the area.

Once the issue was reported to the front desk we immediately responded by checking our boiler systems. This was an isolated incident we look forward to you giving us another chance in the near future.

Like walking into an Ikea show room - very small room, lots of 'cute' cubes and hooks, no dresser, no closet, no microwave and no refrigerator---the hotel is "new" and the mirco and refer were "on order", but the room was not discounted. Breakfast not quite bearable, toilet malfunctioned, sound system in all the common areas annoying...it could not be turned off in the gym. A posted notice said complementary ear plugs...but they did not have any. on the plus side - the staff was very friendly. I will not be staying at any other "Ikea" Avid hotels.
