Vale la pena manejar una hora más y pasar de aquí.
El precio no corresponde al servicio que ofrecen. Está muy sucio, al grado de tener nosotros que limpiar con un papel húmedo (hay cocineta pero no hay trapo) todas las superficies para quitarles el polvo, lavamos los trastes antes de usarlos. No había jabón en el baño. El espacio podría tenerse más cuidado y sería una linda experiencia pero se siente que no le ponen atención.

No me ha gustado. Nos quedamos en una casa, era bastante amplia pero todo era incómodo, había bastantes bichos y uno me cayó en la cama. Entiendo que es un lugar en pleno desierto y esto puede ocurrir pero si sois como yo, que tiene pavor a dormir pensando que puede caerle un bicho en la cama en cualquier momento, no lo recomendaría. Tampoco funcionaba la luz del cuarto de baño, había una lámpara mal puesta. Como punto positivo decir que la cafetería estaba muy bien y la cena que servían también.

Recomendado!
La habitación era tal cuál mostraba las fotos! Decoración amigable, muy espaciosa y camas con almohadas muy cómodas. Lo único a mejorar es que había un poco de humedad en el baño. La habitación es como una cabaña en el medio de la nada y todas las ventanas tenían mosquiteros así que se podía dormir sin problemas! Queda a 30 minutos aprox. del parque Death Valley, pero dentro del parque sugiero elegir los puntos a visitar ya que es inmenso.

Leer bien todo para que no te lleves sorpresas
Nos hospedamos en lo que llaman Suite Doble, que es una habitación pequeña con mala ventilación y hecha con materiales reciclados y reutilizados (puertas, muebles de cocina..). El baño desprendía mal olor a las cañerías, y el inodoro estuvo toda la noche haciendo ruido como si fuera a desbordarse. La suite incluye una pequeña zona para desayunar/preparar un pequeño tentempié, pero casi no hay utensilios de ningún tipo, básicamente hay unas tazas pequeñas y poco más. La nevera está sobre una balda caída y está descolocada. Por la mañana no había nadie en recepción, y nos recogió la llave la señora de la limpieza que andaba por allí y que ni siquiera nos saludó. Tampoco tuvimos por lo tanto la oportunidad de escalar estas cosas a alguien de la propiedad. La chica que nos recibió por la noche, sin embargo, fue muy servicial y amable, lo único bueno de la estancia. Optamos por pagar más y no quedarnos en un tipi porque leímos comentarios sobre el ruido de la carretera que, efectivamente pasa muy cerca y tiene mucho tránsito. Sin embargo, se da a entender que la suite es un servicio superior, y para nada, la habitación deja mucho que desear y yo no pasaría aquí más de una noche y siendo una persona flexible y fácil de complacer en cuanto a comodidad y servicios.

Poca informacion
Lo peor fue que llegamos tarde y por tanto no pudimos ver a nadie del lugar. Por ello supongo q no nos pudieron decir que no dejaramos comida a la vista, porque al dia siguiente amanecio un trozo de pan repleto de hormigas encima de la mesa. Ademas nos costo hacer el check in, pues no nos avisaron de que en caso de llegar despues de cierta hora (llegamos a las 9pm) habia que recoger un sobre en un edificio. Tardamos en encontrarlo.

It was funky. Oldish. But decent digs. They not only had fridge, microwave and coffee maker…but also proved real dishes, silverware and a large sink, dish soap, etc.

This place is very special and was crafted with great care. We stayed in one of the Teepees. The beds were so comfortable and the space was very clean and comfortable they even had heating blankets if you need to use them. This area of the Sierras is stunning and this property just adds to the experience. We loved our dinner cooked and served by Heather and the property managers are amazing. Would definitely come back was very beautiful and memorable!

The place was clean but smelled moldy and musty. I sneezed a lot and for this reason I would not stay here again. Rooms were old trailers that were refurbished. Bed was very comfortable, showers hot and with good pressure. Staff very nice but we had to ask for kitchen towels, another hand towels and another washcloths. They expected 2 people to share the same washcloth and hand towel. Check in gal took away 2 bath towels and had to get us 2 pillowcases, another washcloth and hand towel. They had a price list if something was missing but how can they tell when it was not even fully stocked to begin with? Disorganized would be the best word to fit. This place was overpriced at $139. We were thankful we could bring our dog for the extra $20 and the cafe was good.

Secluded quiet RV park.Quiet Old very Old, the housing for non Rv owners are trailers devided like duplexes. Located between snowcapped mountains. Beautiful . No nearby restaurants or gass. Food at exelent price at check in building. Staff goodhearted and helpful.

Is it fancy, no. It’s it clean, yes. The family that runs the show is supper friendly! The location is as convenient to Death Valley as you’re going to get with out staying in the park. Food from the bar/check in is good bar food! The view of the mountains from the parking lot is beautiful. If you get a room, you do share a wall with another room so depending on your neighbors it may or may not be quiet. Over all a great stay for the price.

We stayed in a Tipi and had a great experience! Georgette (I hope I got it right ) was Super friendly and Helpful. Also we had the mushroom burger and Patty melt from the restaurant and the service and meal were great!! We will be coming back soon!!

The description of the room in the website is incorrect. The website said the room had 2 queen size beds. However the room had only 1 queen size bed and a pull out sofa, which is not the same as a bed.

I was actually very impressed by all the offerings at the property including dine in options. In the room (I got a king bed room) I did not expect a kitchen and such a spacious space. It was great to refresh. Had a heater, tv, hot water- all your needs. Just noticed as a dog owner that there were not enough trash bins around. Someone left poop on the other side of our property. Besides that- highly recommend. The sky was beautiful at sunrise

This place is perfect for what it is, an RV park with teepees. The limited staff is fabulous! The highway is noisy, but besides that, the property is a rustic, tiny town paradise.

Hébergement dans un vieux mobile home à peine rafraîchi qui reste vétuste. Vieux matelas et sommier totalement hors d’usage où il est impossible de trouver le sommeil. La climatisation d’un autre âge fait un bruit infernal et dégage une odeur de vieille chaussettes sales : il est de toute manière impossible de dormir si elle est en fonction ! Le sol était constellé de grains de sable et de petits cailloux : très agréable pour marcher nu pied et se coucher ensuite. Tous les bruits extérieurs sont aussi audibles que s’ils avaient lieux à l’intérieur : le soir, la promenade des chiens qui aboient et les camions avec les moteurs qui tournent jusqu’à pas d’heure et dès le matin à 04h00, les premiers occupants qui démarrent leur voiture pour aller travailler. Si l’on ajoute à cela que c’est un trou perdu au milieu de nul part (surtout quand la death valley est fermée) et que la nuitée est à plus de 150 $, il n’y a qu’une chose à faire : fuir de cet hôtel et mieux encore, ne surtout pas s’y arrêter !

We are very sorry and spoke to housekeeping. They said it was not on the list of rooms to be cleaned. We have set up inspections to prevent this from happening in the future.We hope you give us another chance :)
