The train running behind the property at night woke us up. The location was good with lots of foot traffic and places to go in the evening. The hotel was cute, but had chipping paint in the bathroom.

The hotel is not Ocean Front like the ad says on website. Room was tiny , but clean. Amtrak Train right behind hotel. Checked some actual Ocean Front hotels and price was same.

Thank you for staying with us.The description of the hotel is "Ocean View". Nowhere does it say Ocean Front. We do say that we are "75 yards from the beach" so, it's not possible to be ocean front. I'm sorry for the misunderstanding.Yes, Amtrak does come through OOB. It has for over a 100 years. No matter where you stay, the train is part of our history and our daily lives.

Es tut mir leid, dass Sie mit Ihrem Aufenthalt nicht zufrieden waren. Ihr Zimmer war sauber und ordentlich, als Sie ankamen.Wir bieten keinen Reinigungsservice an. Es fehlt das Personal, um die Arbeitsbelastung zu bewältigen. Dies ist eine gängige Praxis in allen Strandhotels. Auf Ihrem Check-in-Beleg, der öffentlichen Pinnwand am Büroeingang und im blauen Willkommensbuch in Ihrem Zimmer ist kein Reinigungsservice vermerkt.

The pier was a mess the town was, kind of dumpy. The rooms were small, no pool open, and the bathrooms were real small. Tried to cancel second day, but no luck. For the price, I would not recommend.

Thank you for staying with us Ron.We can't control the Pier but we do know the owner. We'll pass along your comments.Unfortunately, you booked with Expedia. We have to follow Expedia's. There isn't a refund for shortened stays.When you booked with Expedia our location states that the pool is closed as of September 20th. The falling leaves clog the filter and so we close the pool for maintenance reasons.

First time staying here and I really enjoyed it. The rooms were very clean and the staff were polite. They have a full patio for a cookout/relaxing area. We never used our vehicle we were able to walk everywhere within 10 minutes. Would love to stay here again

Une très belle chambre le lit est très confortable. La salle de bain est petite. Il y a un frigidaire. Dans les points qu on aurait apprécié l'accès a un micro-onde et une table avec chaise pour pouvoir manger à l'intérieur de notre chambre. Sinon le point très positif est qu'on est a coté de la plage 2 min de marche et que la plage est merveilleuse.

Pros: good customer service at check in. Pool is nice. Warm water when taking a shower any time of day. Cons: room was dirty. Very little lighting in room. Floor was absolutely dirty with sand & this was before we walked to the beach. Plug did not work in bathroom so no shaving or hair dryer. You must bring what you need for shower. Soap is only thing provided. It was very noisy as the property is close to the road & there is a train that goes by periodically.

Very small room the bathroom Door was very difficult to open an close. For the rest everything was fine. No parking to pay everything was near in sidewalks. Owners very smart and friendly . Thank you for staying with us!We'll address the bathroom door with our maintenance man. Yes, location is everything. Parking is 25-30 USD so being able to walk to everything is important.Price: OOB has changed a lot. There are very few original hotel owners left in town. We all have mortgage and so, unfortunately, 6 mos of being open has to pay for everything. We remain in the middle of the road for pricing.

La seul chose que j’ai a dire c’est le petit manque de papier de toilette j’avais seulement 1 rouleau dans ma chambre pour un séjour de 4 jour et jamais personne es venu voir si tout étais ok et aussi le café à jamais été remplacer donc du café seulement pour le premier matin … mais sinon tout étais parfait

What an amazing experience it’s a husband and wife team that own the motel and typi couldn’t ask for a more salt of the earth couple! The premises was immaculate and the husband, captain Pete help me learn how to shuck oysters. The whole experience was unbelievable and my children loved this place, I will definitely be booking this hotel again.

I would never stay there again.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the bed sheets hadn’t been changed before our stay. I can’t even say the bed looked made. Sheets just thrown up the bed. Another customer had sand in her bed and hadn’t even gotten into the bed yet. Owner accused her of lying. Pretty sure the customer wasn’t lying. The only amenities were a fridge that had broken shelves and a hair dryer. What hotel room doesn’t have a microwave?! The bed was very uncomfortable. The air conditioner was placed so it blew directly on your head but if you didn’t have it on it was nasty and humid in the room. So we had to have that on AND the crappy portable heater on at the same time. It was strange. It wasn’t a comfortable place to stay at all. We couldn’t get out of there fast enough.

We spent two nights here, mid-week. The owners were super friendly and helpful with suggestions for the area. The place was very clean. The beach and many restaurants are so close, it was just the location we wanted to be in for this trip. I would stay at Seagrass Inn again!

. To Start Off… The Seagrass Inn is way better then it appears online…! When you walk in the Office to check in.. You immediately just made new friends.. The Owners treat you like your Family… It’s one of the best check-in that I’ve had.. Very accommodating and caring.. Great People.. Multiple parking options available to fit your needs. I Love this Place already and haven’t seen the Room.. We get to the Room and it’s So Prefect.. Paint Scheme and everything in the Room is Perfect.. Nice furnishings.. Great bedding.. Nice Tile Floor.. It’s Clean and Comfortable and Shows it as soon as you walk in.. The Pool and seating area with grills are just like everything else… Perfect..!! They set things up with way more attention to detail and stuff then you won’t find anywhere.. They make a huge effort to make sure you enjoy your stay and have a good time..! Beach is steps away.. The Pier and Attractions along with Great places to eat are a few steps further.. Don’t hesitate to book a stay here you won’t regret it..!! Unless your looking for a Robitic Check-In and a place that cares more about the Dollar then the Guest..! Thanks for a Great Stay and Hospitality.. See you again soon.. .

The Property is well situated. The cleanliness is good. There are trains near by that are noisy all through the night. There is no view of the ocean. there is not much that the owner can do at this point. It was clean, walking distance to everything, and staff friendly. I give it a 3 star for that reason.

The room was very very small. I went outside to change my mind! There were train tracks right outside the rooms in the rear of the property that passed all hours of the day/night. It may work for some but not us again.

Thank you for staying with us.You booked our smallest and least expensive room. The room measurements were provided when you chose to reserve this room. The price reflects the size. No matter where you stay in OOB you'll hear the train. The train is part of our history and there is no change in sight.

Nous avons dépensé pas mal d'argent pour moderniser la piscine et l'espace barbecue. Merci de l'avoir remarqué !J'ai adressé votre commentaire au service de ménage. Nous sommes à la plage et nous faisons de notre mieux pour être aussi propres que possible.

Thank you for staying with us.You booked a queen bed. If a queen bed is not what you're used to or you have a different style (like a pillow top) of bed at home, I can understand why you weren't comfortable. We have standard sizes of Beautyrest mattresses. We are located right in the heart of the Entertainment District and it's August. There are bars and outside music. With the convenience of being where the action is, comes noise. We're sorry about that but we can't control it.

Thank you for staying with us. Yes, accessing the beach is very easy when you stay with us!There isn't a beach parking fee if you arrive at check-in, 3pm. If you arrive before check in, yes there is a fee just like all the other hotels on West Grand Ave. We offer more than parking. We offer the use of the pool, bbq, changing room and if your room is ready after 12pm and before 3pm, you can be checked in early.All our fees are listed on our website and in the Expedia reservation system.

Love the location. The room was clean. We had a great service from the staff. Small room but ok. Not the most confortable bed. No comforter just two bed sheets. No tv remote. Only one bedside table due the the lack of space.

Thank you for staying with us. You were in a queen size bed room. Our mattresses are by Beautyrest but not a pillow top. You are right, the room is small but well appointed for the beach goer. Blankets are removed from the rooms on July 1 and return on September 1. With such warm weather for 2 months we found that people either tossed them on the floor or brought them to the beach (yes, it happens!). We are always happy to give you a blanket if you visited the office. The remote was in the dresser. The housekeepers should have put it on the bedside table as instructed. Sorry about that!
