Frisch renovierte, luxoriöse Familienzimmer mit Tee, Wasser, Kekse. Sehr freundlicher Empfang, gute Restaurantempfehlung (King's Head), schöner Park, fantastisches Frühstück, obwohl gerade die Küche (schick) renoviert wird. Sehr freundliches Personal. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Wonderful period rectory sympathetically extended to provide tastful and secure rooms with easy access to the gardens. Helpful and cheerful staff. It is no wonder it has recieved so many awards as a wedding venue. A pure delight!

Buon compromesso. Altezze stanze ridotte.
Casa di campagna antica, adattata a diventare hotel. Ottimo servizio. Ottima la colazione. Essendo una casa antica, anche se le stanze sono ampie, le altezze non sono elevate. In camera l'altezza massima era di 2m, le porte non sono più alte di 1.85m. Se sei alto non è facile muoversi ed è davvero difficile farsi la doccia...

False information
Advertised as having a bar and restaurant. On arrival was told there is not any. The room was perfect. Bathroom lovely. But the bed was really hard and very uncomfortable. The estate is lovely. But walls are thin. Could hear next door even peeing. Noise from the main road that runs alongside is a real problem. Not sure I would come again

Nothing was too much trouble
I stayed in the recently refurbished rooms, modern, clean and lovely. To give constructive feedback I would say the heating kept going off so felt a chill a few times and the walls are thin so could hear next door coughing. TV didn’t get signal but I wasn’t there to watch it. The service is what makes this place, the ladies on reception were wonderful nothing was too much trouble and the acted swiftly and efficiently. I can’t wait to stay there again in a few weeks.

Better than Holiday Inn
Excellent one night stay in the area. Room upgraded to recently decorated which waas nice in the courtyard. Breakfast was very tasty and varied. Lovely surroundings and easy to find. Walls a little thin in the rooms so woke up to next door chatting and hairdrying.

Stunning
Our stay at Mulberry House was wonderful, the staff at the hotel were all really friendly, our room was really modern and comfortable, the breakfast was delicious, and the grounds beautiful with Llamas on the perimeter! We chose this hotel due to the location, close to Writtle University, and will definitely book again.

As we were checking in late after a visit to a friend, the night porter checked us in. The room we stayed was small, but didn't mind as it was just a bed and a roof for the night. Was pleasantly surprised when we came for breakfast, the place was huge! Breakfast table had all sorts, fruit, cereal bars, cereal and juice on the ready. Breakfast was cooked as ordered. As I'm weird when it comes to bacon, asked for it just cooked, it came as I'd asked for. The hotel had an award this year for an excellent revenue, i couldn't eault it, i would get married there if i ain't already! All in all, it was a fantastic experience and the staff were more than helpful!

Comfortable family stay
Friendly staff and good sized room. Decor a bit dated but very comfortable. We had a family room which was made up of a main bedroom and an adjoining living room with pull out couch. It gave enough room for our family, and the little 'kitchen' area was very helpful. Generally clean, would stay again. Looked like a great wedding venue too if I was looking for one!

Lovely venue, great meeting point for catching up with a friend. Can see they definitely cater for weddings exceptionally well but other guests ate equally looked after. Will stay again.

This is a beautiful property in lovely grounds and although the court yard rooms are small I was luckily enough to stay in a recently renovated one. The only thing the property lacks is a bar area.

Beautiful place to stay, perfect wedding location for those thinking of hosting one. Ideally located just outside of London in the beautiful Essex countryside of Ongar.
