Nice clean simple hotel , perhaps it could do with offering breakfast or even coffee it jas nice facilities to offer this in a shaded relaxed outdoor balcony at reception , but overall highly recommended

Fun Dee is good, clean and affordable. Location is near to Bangla (within walking distance) but away from the noise and near some spa and the market. The receptionist is very kind, when it is raining they offered us umbrella. Should book deluxe room as it is spacious

Keine Badetuch für den Strand. Keine funktionierende Klimaanlage. Bettwäsche wurde nach der 2 Nacht nur auf Nachfrage teilweise gewechselt, Kopfkissen blieben umgewechselt. Balkon Mobiliar kaputt. Gibt wirklich nichts gutes zu berichten. Nach der 2 Nacht ausgecheckt obwohl noch 5 Nächte bezahlt.

Sono cliente ormai abituale di questa struttura, che meriterebbe una rinfrescata. Ma la posizione, il prezzo e la qualità dei servizi rimangono di ottimo livello. Purtroppo da quest'anno non c'è più la possibilità di noleggiare i motorini dell'hotel. (c'è un chiosco di fronte)

Hotel in need of some upgrading works
This is among one of the worst hotel that I have ever stayed. The room is dimly lit, carpentry showed signs of aging damage, balcony is coated with dust, no view at all, in close proximity with opposite hotel. Television ancient bulky CRT. Worst is the bed, stained and smelly bed sheets and pillow cases, spring of the mattress totally gone. Towels old, frayed, stained. The bathroom consists of just a shower head, toilet bowl and basin. Rusty joints, mouldy tiles and no hangers to hang anything while taking a shower. No kettle and cups to make a hot drink. Bar below the hotel is not operating.

Its funny how someone like you can complain so much even about rusty door hinges but you only wanted to pay so little. you want so much why don't you pay 20 times more than what you paid & get a 5 star hotel who will give you shinny sparkling door hinges and a desk to study on. your comments about a stained smelly mattress and old frayed towels are a load of hob wash from your imagination. we have clean spotless rooms, clean sheets daily and towels daily and rooms are in good as new condition. I think in your mind you booked a fancy 5 star hotel with all the bells and whistles but you can only afford a 3 star sorry we cant help you perhaps you can be a little more generous on your dreams and spend not $80 but $800 or $2,000 & get yourself the sparkling door hinges & as magnificently light up rooms with sparkles for. Keep dreaming cause you cant afford 5 star hotel that's why you booked 3 star

Decent hotel close to the action. We had two rooms of which one had a broken AC and hard as rock bed. The staff was helpful and polite. OK stay if you plan on just using the hotel to sleep.

Good value, great location but a few issues.
The Fundee boutique is a very good value hotel right next to Bangla Road and Patong beach. The staff were mostly very friendly who have no problem with you bringing guests over to stay the night. There were a few problems with the room however. The air conditioning in my room, while very effective seemed to make me ill on the first day so I'm not sure how well maintained it is. When I had a guest over to stay, they also reported the same. Can't say it's the same for all the rooms though. Another issue was that the mattresses on my double bed were basically broken. You'd sink into the middle of them and they offered very poor support. Other than that, all good, complimentary water and clean spacious rooms with a small balcony to hang clothes.

L'hôtel bien situé a 400m de bangla Road et proche du centre commercial mais le soucis le debit de wifi et assez lente et il y a pas de wifi et pas de piscine dans l'hôtel j'avais réservé la mauvaise chambre sans fenêtre et si je voulais changer je devais payer 200 bath en plus par nuits si vous souhaitez juste passé que la nuit idéal mais sinon à côté d'autres hôtels son largement mieux

Nice n cozy
Nice and cozy hotel at a low price. The rooms vary slightly in standard but it is generally a good hotel with a good standard compared to the price you pay with an ok location not far from jungceylon shopping mall, banzaan night market and Bangla road.

Management Insensitive to Guests
Management mistakenly charged me for one extra night that I could not use because of my scheduled plane ticket leaving the country. When explained, they understood and agreed I would not be able to use the room. Initially they said they would give me a refund. A few minutes later they rescinded, saying they have a no refund policy. Thus they kept my money for a room I did not use and they acknowledged I could not use! I have never before dealt with any business organization that would do such a thing.

excellent budget hotel
We stayed in fundee for 2 nights before we moved to ko lanta. This hotel is great value for money. We payed only 20e per night. The room was ok, nothing special. Fridge and ac worked well. There was a tv but we never switched it on. Safetydepositbox worked. We didnt have a window in our room. The sheets had some small stains in them. The hotel is walking distance from the beach and from bangla street. The staff was very friendly, helped us to organise our taxi to the port and ferrytickets to lanta. There was no breakfast at the hotel because the kitchen was being renovated. However, theres a restaurant just across the street which served breakfast. The hotel was surprisingly quiet during the night, but you might want buy earplugs just in case. I would recommend this hotel to people who want to explore the patong beach nightlife and are looking for cheap but decent accomodation and are staying in patong for couple of nights. If you are travelling with children, then id say you should stay somewhere else.

Not bad. Not great.
There are probably better choices. The room was large and had a balcony but was so close to the next building that I had to use the balcony and crane my neck to see what the weather was like. It was reasonably clean but run down. It wasn't too far to Jung Ceylon shopping centre and even closer to the fresh market.
