“Sleeps 3-5 easily if you share the main beds. Pellet stove very easy to operate and can heat the entire place. Plenty of pillows for the beds and lots of throw pillows too. Quiet location, diner around the corner. Coffee maker, hot water kettle, stove and microwave. Powerful shower if you like that sort of thing. Nice backyard courtyard to hang out in if the weather is nice. Washer and dryer are a nice plus as well. I’d definitely stay here again.”

“We loved this little cabin! It had everything we needed! One thing to be aware of: the local pickleball community has adopted part of the street leading to the cabin as their courts. They’ll move to let you by, but it gets a bit crowded at times and they’re less than thrilled about stopping play to move their nets. Other than that, it was excellent!”

“This was our first visit to northern California. We had a great view of the cove where there were sea lions and seals and enjoyed watching the birds and deer from the porch. We traveled to the redwoods which were not far. We also explored the General Store and enjoyed a meal at the brewery in Shelter Cove. All communication with the homeowner was prompt and courteous. “This house was PERFECT for or family trip to the Redwoods. The house has beautiful view and perfect location. We were welcomed with a very nice bottle of wine and hand written note. The house sits on the 9 hole golf course run by adjacent KOA. We enjoyed golf and other KOA amenities. We walked to Benbow Inn for a very nice dinner. Our weather was rainy, it was nice to have this warm oasis to come home to each night. We did not use pool or hot tub due to weather.”

Close to the Cove and the brewery - our favorite place to eat and have a cold one after field work. The neighborhood was quiet, the property behind this house is a bit of an eyesore, but not a big deal for us. I would definitely stay here again.”

“As advertised this is a very comfortable tent in the remote hills of Humboldt county. There is no power in the tent which is both charming and challenging. The whole farm is off grid, from an environmental standpoint it’s a really interesting place. The hike to the latrine was challenging for two oldish Americans, but if you want to be away from everything this is a great spot. The tent was super comfortable and the staff were quick to help.”
