El servicio fue muy bueno. A las instalaciones les falta para llegar al nivel de 9.8, yo diria mas bien un 8. Agua caliente tarda mucho en salir (5-8 minutos en la regadera), orientacion de la cama deberia estar en otra forma para evitar el aire directamente sobre la cabeza de los huespedes. Para huespedes que traen vehiculo, en mi opinion es indispensable que tengan estacionamiento propio y seguro.

Estimado: Agradecemos su comentarios ,para nosotros es muy importante las opiniones de nuestros huéspedes , Lamento que tuviera inconvenientes ,ya que el staff siempre estaba pendiente de usted para saber si necesitaba algo y usted nunca menciono el inconveniente con el agua caliente . El sistema de calentador de agua lleva un tiempo máximo de 1 minuto y no como usted lo menciona. El aire acondicionado se encuentra de lado de la cama y no como menciona , pero nuestros aires acondicionados tienen la función de mover el aire en la dirección que usted desee , es por eso que el staff que lo lleva a su habitación se toma el tiempo de explicar a detalle las funciones de todos los elementos dentro de la habitación para darle el confort que usted desee , pero si usted no permitió que el staff diera un check in correcto , situaciones como esta pueden suceder. Nuestro estacionamiento esta afuera de la propiedad y NUNCA hemos tenido inconvenientes o alguna queja por daños a los vehículos dado que el fraccionamiento es seguro y ademas nosotros tenemos vigilancia de cámaras 24 / 7 , por el acceso de los huéspedes 24 hrs y estas son monitoreadas por el staff 24 /7. Nuestra puntuación de 9.8 se debe al promedio de todos los servicios brindados como Desayuno , Limpieza , Ubicación , Servicio , Confort , Amenidades.

Excelente atención, desayuno muy rico.
La atención es realmente buena. Se esmeran en buscar que todo este bien. Mi mujer se torció el pie y nos prestaron unas muletas. Incluso para ir a la playa después de que hicimos check Out. Realmente excelente atención. El desayuno muy rico.

Amazing service!
The receptionist was super friendly and did everything she could to make our stay as comfortable as possible: giving us local suggestions, offering to carry all our bags, and taking our orders for breakfast the next morning. She was also bilingual in Spanish and English. The breakfast was awesome - made to oder and delicious. The room was clean and comfortable and even had Netflix available. We also enjoyed the pool and outdoor seating. We couldn't have been happier. If we ever come back to Playa del Carmen, we'll definitely stay here again.

Desde la llegada se tuvo un recibimiento muy cálido, se nos dió toda la información necesaria para tener una excelente estancia. El trato siempre fue cálido y la atención personalizada. Los alimentos se sirvieron a tiempo y muy ricos. El lugar es muy tranquilo, te hacen sentir en casa, las habitaciones limpias y muy comodas. En general una excelente experiencia. Muchas gracias!

This propierty is situated on a very quite area felt very safe, About 10 minutes walking distance from a big grocery store, no restaurant close by, but owners offered transportations to restaurants. Owners live in the property. Will recommend property if you are looking for a relax quite area

Nuestra estancia en Casa GEM ha sido una de las más placenteras que hemos tenido. Itzel y Serafín estuvieron siempre al pendiente de lo que necesitáramos. Nos dieron recomendaciones muy buenas de actividades y restaurantes a los que fuimos y quedamos muy satisfechos. Las opciones de transportación que ellos ofrecen hicieron nuestro viaje muy cómodo y divertido. Son perfectas para hacer viajes cortos en Playa del Carmen, sin costo o muy bajo costo, o para rentar un auto e ir un poco más lejos. Los desayunos (incluidos) que preparan diario eran justo lo que necesitábamos para empezar el día con el pie derecho. Sin duda los recomendamos y regresaremos pronto. Nos divertimos mucho con su compañía en los juegos de mesa. Muchas gracias muchachos por todas las atenciones.

Very nice property, hospitality and relaxing stay
we really enjoy the area and also the wonderful facilities and couple who own the property. Serafim is very helpful as is his wife Itzel. We recommend staying here for a relaxing and fun stay in Playa Del Carmen. A special thanks for their rides to and from Cancun. That really starts and ends the trip in the best way.

Cute B&B
This B&B was fine to shower and rest our heads during a one night stay before heading to the airport in Cancun. Our bathroom was excellent with plenty of hot water and pressure. Breakfast was made to order and also lovely. The staff were attentive and professional. On the downside, the property and pool looked a little worn and the neighborhood did not seem the safest. All of the properties in this neighborhood have electrified walls and security cameras pointed at the street to keep out burglars and the host insisted that we park in front of the cameras. Our small room was very comfortable although the second bed was quite small for our two children. Also a heads up that Google maps may try to take you down a dirt track to get there, you must enter from the main highway by the Chinese restaurant - we circled a bit trying to find it. Overall, I wasn't unhappy with the stay but if I was heading back to Playa del Carmen I probably would seek a bigger room for our family.

Dear Beth, Thank you for sharing your experience, we are sorry that your perception of the neighborhood seemed unsafe, any country has its own protection methods, some more elegant than others, and in our case an electrified fence is common in Mexico due to government regulations status, which we try to keep up to date.Thanks to the fact that we tell to our guests to have their car in front of the cameras, we notify them in case they leave their window open and it rains or a door is poorly closed and their battery can go down. There is a reason for our facts thought only of the comfort of our guests since we have never had any negative security incident in all the time we have been open (since 2017).The room that I reserve is comfortable for 3 people, actually 4 people is a bit small, but since it is high season unfortunately the rooms with more space are reserved quickly.

The manager and their team went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect! They are very courteous and made us feel very welcomed. Their breakfasts are delicious and their rooms are extremely clean; they have the amenities as shown on the website. My family and I are defintively planning on coming back to Playa del Carmen and staying with them again. Thanks SO MUCH Casa Gem B&B!!!

We spent the night at Casa Gem before heading south on Mayan Coast roadtrip. We felt very welcomed by the staff, who were incredibly helpful in setting us up with dinner options, rental car, travel tips. They were accessible as resource throughout the stay and super super helpful. We'll definitely visit again!

Such a wonderful and quiet location, 15 mins from Xcaret, and 10 mins from downtown, it’s perfect if you need a breather from the congested downtown. I would come back again for sure!

Planned to take the ferry from Playa Del Carmen to Cozumel but because of the windy conditions the ferries were cancelled for 2 days!! Found Casa Gem through Expedia on a humbug and was so fortunate to find this amazing Bed and Breakfast just 10 minutes away from the ferry dock!! Located in a safe, residential neighborhood, the husband of the owners duo called me to make sure I was able to find the location and came outside to guide me to the property!! I went grocery shopping in anticipation of heading to my destination and they were kind enough to keep my groceries in their fridge.The property was clean, quaint and quiet!! My reservation came with several choices for a scheduled homemade breakfast. This was to insure the dining area was cleaned and sanitized for me. Breakfast was amazing and my host Itzel ( wife of the dynamic duo) helped me navigate the 2 hour road trip to Chenchi Itza and even gave me the entrance gate key in case they were not home when I returned!! My 2 night unexpected stay couldn’t have been any better!! Because of The central location, rooms, hospitality and gracious staff , I’ll definitely be back and would HIGHLY recommend the Casa Gem!!

The property was great and the owners where amazing they where really nice, friendly and very helpful. The room very clean and spacious the beds where very comfortable and the breakfast was great. The hosts are very friendly and helpfull with any question. The house is nice, comfortable and quiet. A car is necessary to access the house and it's not in a closed walking distance from the beach, but it's on the road to Xpu Ha beach and Tulum.

Great experience
Without doubt one of the favorite hotels I stayed during my time in Playa del Carmen ! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff . The staff was extremely friendly, and flexible with requests (appreciate) Food was delicious had chilaquiles every day .We had five great evenings here, which obviously also added up to the experience. The second day we forgot our gear for explor park and the staff kindly took it to us to the park. Note, this is not a 5/5 star hotel .it really felt like home to me. All respect for the staff who does a great job here; a true sample of excellent hospitality!

Vale muito a pena!
Apesar de estar um pouco distante do centro de Playa Del Carmen, a pousada é maravilhosa, como mostra nas fotos. Tudo é bem limpo e os donos são super receptivos, amáveis e cuidadosos. Foi excelente a estadia, pois depois de dias de passeios só queríamos um lugar tranquilo para renovar as energias. Vale a pena alugar um carro para ficar na pousada, pois facilita o deslocamento.

We were very impressed with the overall Experience at Casa Gem. Since our arrival Serafin welcomed us in and helped us with our luggage followed by itzel who processed our check-in. From the very beginning they make you feel welcome and at home, they are very helpful, amiable, resourceful and respectul. We have stayed in many hotels but this has got to be the best hotel when it comes to superb customer service. I wll definitely recommend friends and family to stay here when they are in playa del carmen. Also the room was very clean and the mattress was very cozy and the location is relatively close to the parks and the strip. We will definitely stay here next time we are in Playa. Gracias chicos por todo 😁

B&B a l’écart de la ville dans un quartier en développement. Calme, petite piscine et accueil sympathique. Petit déjeuner au bord de la piscine. Internet faible débit, Netflix a disposition.
